STOLEN SIR FRANCIS BACONS

Today (1/2/2010) my 09/10 Line Sir Francis Bacon's were stolen

outside the White Pass Lodge, at around 4:30PM.

They are 172's mounted a few centimeters back with some MARKER GRIFFONS,

set at a 7. They were my prized possession, my only christmas present, only the 4th day i've ridden on them !

I even seperated them, and these freaks watched me and stole them after I went inside.

I watched them on surveillance with tyler this evening...two very short kids creeping around,

one in dark blue saggy pants, one in black pants with a blue beanie. I cried the whole way home.

fml.

if you see used sir francis bacons being sold on ebay, craiglist, here or just riding around any resort,

PLEASE don't buy them and let me know.

email: yeahhitsrach@aim.com / or just holla on here.

i'm devastated. so i had to walk down to the mahre's house and use their computer, to post this.

thanks for any effort you can make, i reeeeaaaally appreciate it ! (:

this seriously crosssed the line, i learned my lesson.

and if you're the 2 who took my skis-

be warned, this isn't over.

its actually just beginning, you messed with the wrong girl.

Cant say I can help at all, but it might be a good idea to post on TGR and Turns All Year as well.

Plus vibes, sorry to here that, i am always worried about my stuff getting stolen and i sometimes regret not seperating or locking my skis, but i will now,

But deffently do what ^ he said, post everywhere to get attention, check craigslist and ebay everyday (im sure your already doing this) but i bet the will turn up, because you know what they look like, and i bet if you just stake out white pass for a couple of days or next weekend, you can catch the little bastards when they come back.

Sorry to here a fellow skier losing their brand new setup

Ferrari

check craigslist in portland and other areas too. there are guys at snoqualmie that got busted taking 20+ boards a weekend and selling them on craigs in portland

well if youre at snoqualmie and see a kid with bacons a few centimeters back and griffons theyre probably not stolen. especially if its peter.

that reaaaaaaaaally sucks though

these are 09/10 172s tho ed, not peters 08/09 182s

and im really sorry about that rachel, if you would have gone to mission you would still have ur skis

what tommy said, mine are 08/09 and they've got jesters not griffons...
but anyway to the OP, if i see anything around i'll definitely let you know
i really hope that the fuckers saw/see this thread and feel their guts drop

i know, i sat with the lifties for like an hour or so today, and we were all like, maybe crystal...but here?!

uhhhhhhhhhh what? I know that none of us would ever steal skis here, nor have I ever heard of a pair being stolen at this mountain. Sure, some people are dicks...but ski stealers of that kind are normally the people who know the value of the skis that they are taking. The people who freeski here are not like that.

yeah its just that white is so much more family oriented. but yeah I love crystal. and the people at crystal. it happens everywhere i guess, just sucks.

so should i start packing heat in case i see this fuck face? some dip shit tired to take my Elizabeth'slast week but i was 10 feet away and he eyeballed me

welll i have more info now. tyler and louis think its a group of six plus people all working together. two or three are always on the look out, because stuff gets jacked when ski patrol is busy, and when no ones watching. they think its 2 or 3 kids, a couple, and this guy in a military suit. some serious team work goin on.

This is good shit, I feel horrible for you, but I'm always stoked to see the ski community come together to help each other out! I hope it works out for you. And I hope this thread sends a message to those who hate themselves enough to fuck it up for the rest of us. Did you post this to TetonGravity.com yet?

One time someone stole me and a buddies single ski (we had separated and traded skis), so we we're so pissed. Thankfully they tossed 'em right behind the snow wall after realizing they couldn't sell just two different types of skis so we got them back. I'll keep an eye out at Baker.
