Stolen line shadow skis, whistler village last night, any help =

hey guys

was half asleeep after work waiting for the creekside bus last night, jumped on about 11.15pm, as i got off the bus ten mins later i realised i left my brand new, unmounted line shadows at the bus stop ('08/'09 variety, pastel graphic)

got back to the village by 11.45 and they were gone....

to put shit in context i spent almost $4000 on spending 5 glorious days in a coma after being heli lifted from whis terrain park to vancouver about 3 weeks ago, needless to say i can't afford to replace them, (/ buy groceries hahaha)

i'm like 5' 2' so they'd be fairly useless to the average normal sized human...im rocking pandoras at the moment which are great but not so good on narrow tracks/trees/the park, so im super keen to get my skis back, if anyone hears anything or knows anything i'd be super appreciative of a heads up!!

ps oh worst is now i have to go to the post office and collect my bindings which have arrived....now dont have any planks to attatch them toooooo :(

You're skiing again after 3 weeks, after spending 5 days in a coma? I don't think that's safe... Unless I misread that. Anyways best of luck in finding your skis, if I see anything at the locals in Van I will let you know.
 
haha cheers guys, yeah i'm all good, had to get medical clearance before being allowed back up the hill, i've returned to skiing this year having boarded for the past few years, so i'm not incredibly good / daring anyhow hahaha, getting there hopefully though!

Well, now you can get on hell bents and have way more fun.
 
Drop by the different shops and tell them to notify you if someone brings in a pair matching the description and then see if there is anyway that you can prove that they are yours.
 
If you have the serial number anywhere keep that handy, also file a report with the police and ask stores
 
thanks, great minds think alike as they say! have done all the above, somehow i don't think whoever nabbed them is going to get caught at this point, but i would probably lose my shit if i saw someone with them on the mountain hahaha

thanks heaps for the suggestion though, i know a couple people who work ski stores in the village and they're keeping an eye out, plus have spoken to others who're going to do the same, once i supply the serial no the store has the right to keep them for return to me, cool huh!
 
i'm a girl who's 5 ' 2' and weighs about 110 pounds, somehow i don't think the 169cm smallest offering in the hell bents would be the ideal park ski... :P

i'm rocking LINE pandoras all mountaining, but i bought the shadows as a more nimble/symmetrical park ski

they're pretty much a girls version of the invader i think?
 
I thought they were a girls version of the original Chronic, but what do I know.
 
Very well could be, i'm not certain on them being a girls version of the invader just vaguely recall something along that line
