after the word of that reward gets out someones gonna roll on his buddies. i would rat almost any of my friends for 4g's, especially one who would do somethin as weak as that.

 
while this is a very nice gesture, i do believe that Berman has insurance on his gear. but no amount of money can replace lost shots that take hours and hours to set up, stomp and film.
 
^that is true. I couldn't even imagine how mad you would be if you got the sickest shot that took hours of work to get, only for some jerks to jack your gear with the shot on the cameras memory.

although they certainly don't like losing a camera that nice and expensive, what they're after is the film, i assume.

and that would be silly not to have insurance on the camera, in which case the money isn't really a factor.
 
In Utah, so I can't do a thing about it, but vibes and prayers with you guys. Like everyone else has said, check eBay, Craigslist and pawn shops. I'm 80% sure you can sort by location on eBay as well.

Thought, we need to make a site that can scan the internet world of a product listed from a certain area with keywords, so when shit like this goes down, it can be easier to track down.

I just want to help Level 1 as much as i can. I life in Canada so me telling people won't help at all. I love Level 1, they make amazing movies. Eye Trip was insane, and Refresh is one of my favourite ski movie ever, I've watched it like 100 times.
 
If I ever found the person who did this I would curb stomp the fuck out of them with my SPK.

Anyways if that isnt insured the 2 dollar idea is great. I'de be down.
 
realistically, they would pretty obviously be level 1's shots and at least they would be out there then instead of being lost forever

The funny thing is I have actually done this when someone stole my Go Pro I find mine on Craigslist found the buyer he got I'n to some big shit of trouble I also knew it was mine is once I got the camera back it had all my footage left on it
But that's low hope you found the camera and sticky this!!
 
You guys should try setting up some sort of safe deposit with the poilice. Something of the sort where they can drop of the tapes, and have no questions asked. I m not sure how this works but its definitly been done before.
 
how the fuck do you think these guys get buy?!? no one is making bank here. This is how they eat, sleep, and have a roof to sleep under.
 
Well...I bet the insurance on the camera wouldn't be to replace in full, only what it is worth used, so I bet they would only give them 3-4gs for it, so they would have to spend the 4,000 to buy a new camera after the insurance shit...Not sure how insurance like that goes, it just makes sense to me.
 
Still, berman can handle buying a new camera, especially since he's offering 4gs for someone who finds it.
