Stolen Banners from Tahoe WSKI and X Premier

Someone stole a few banners from me on Oct. 23rd's Tahoe premier of WSKI-106 and X.

I put on this event, (and donated a pair of skis to benefit www.hardcorephilanthropy.com) I hope you all enjoyed it. I was able to give $560 to this non-profit

Alpine is going to charge me $250 for their stolen banner, I havn't spoke with the other companies.

Whoever stole one, or all of them, send me an email so we can meet up, mconnelly@TheRedDawn.com No questions asked.

Anyone else that helps me track it down, I'll make it worth you time.

I saw some kid stuffing one into his backpack, I didnt stop him cause I didnt know if he owned it or what not. Wish I could be more help

I'm sorry about all this, theft pisses me off. He may have thought though that they were going to be thrown away or tossed out. They were right by the tables with all the free posters too, so he may not have realized that it was your property and you wanted to keep it.

Whoa, that's lame as hell.

I was there, too, and I saw two kids who were in the front row (left side, if facing the stage) folding one up. I had no idea the cost or result of their actions, otherwise I would have stopped them, but I believe it was a yellow and black one. I didn't see what exactly it was of, but if I find out anything, I'll let you know ASAP. Sorry for the losses. That stuff pisses me off. Thanks for putting together a great show, though.

Oh, and I believe part of the reason why they took them was because it became easier to obtain them when the break dancer accidentally knocked one or two down and they got all mixed up in the jumble of posters, stickers, wrappers, etc. Good luck getting them back.

kids steal banners at every event we actually got some stupid bitch on video trying to steal the jibij banner at the high 5 premier.

im betting ur not going ot see them again since the person that took them obviously knew they werent suppose to have them so they stuffed it into a back pack. now its probably hanging in their room or some shit.

shit, i was sitting right down the row from the kids sarah's talking about. the banner was yellow and black as she described, and the kids were most likely between the 7th-10th grade level i'm going to guess. i didn't think about it when i saw them rolling it up. i distinctly remember one of the kids had like shoulder length brown hair, appeared very silky to me. also, he was wearing really tight jeans. if i see them i'll let you know, but yeah, they were sitting in the front left corner, first row, if that helps at all.

because it would probably take a while for me to track them down. i dont know anything about them other than that they go to reno high. i am pretty busy so tracking down people to turn them in for the hell of it isnt really a top priority right now.

$250 for a banner makes sense. I guess you guys don't realize that it's so expensive because of the ink, material used for the banner (OH MY GOSH, it's not regular printer paper!), etc. Idiots.

Yeah, that's right... I remember now. The guy with the long hair had on chick pants. I remember pointing him out because of it. Yeah, that's right, Court, I believe it was the Predator sign. To the guy who knew they went to Reno High... Come on. Make a concerted effort to figure out who they are. What if someone stole $250 of your things that were important to you, and someone told you they could figure out who stole them? Quit being so greedy.

I'd help more if I could, but unfortunately, what I can do is extremely limited due to the fact that I moved down here from Alaska only a month ago. Sorry I couldn't contribute more.

Im working on the kid's name with the chick pants, but one of the other kids' name was Danny Auerbak. Im not sure if thats how you spell the last name but its pronounced Hour-Bock. There was a kid in a pink k2 headband whos name is CJ i think.

 
sad thing is, judging by their ages, they're most likey on ns.... possibly reading this thread
