I hate to let you know that the economy and the markets don't correlate but, public trust in the current administration does correlate with how a market does.

Dumb fucking biden supporter

So you think the main reason the market is down is lack of public trust in the current administration?

The day people stop trying to correlate everything with politics is the day they can finally stop being stupid and wake up and see the world how it is. What (could) be happening now is largely unrelated to the last few administrations, this has been an issue forever that may just rear it’s head now.

that, or we rebound on Monday because equities dont like going down.

i do feel bad that we’re possibly amodst a huge global conflict yet all i’m concerned about is stocks and crypto. But i’d rather be concerned with stocks and crypto than politics FFS talk about a waste of time

no i think the market is down because people took my advice and lost a lot of money like me.

Market is correcting away from a hyper inflated state. Everything was ultra over valued and things are coming back to reality. You cant just pin this on one thing. ITs not just politics, its not just market confidence, its compilation of a ton of factors. Just like it was when the market should out of reality up. I wouldnt worry until things drop below realistic valuations.

Unclear if he sold his car and took out a home equity loan to cover his calls or if he did it to fund his initial "bet". Either way what the fuck and yet let's be dumber and lose the rest.

Hey we all start somewhere. We don't know if that's his only source of savings. If he picks a winner no saying what could happen. Not saying it's a lot but I was up to 25k from only a little over 6k in deposits.

You said you sold everything to get your 2200... To me thats your entire net worth. Also, you can just paper trade and not lose the 2200 you have

Net worth of all my cash assets is roughly 6k could have played with a paper account but it’s way easier when you have significant leverage. Much more fun when the bullets are live

Nice thing about paper trading is you can make an infinite amount of trades and hone your skills opening/closing positions as fast as possible to minimize losses. . Setting up your charts with rsi , support levels (google ticker symbol, bar chart cheat sheet for those). Look at trading like its a video game and kick ass.

Not saying to buy, but definitely keep on your radar. Two consecutive quarter subscriber losses. First negative growth in a decade. Could be attractable depending how far it drops. This is not the bottom that's for sure.

Good lookin out. Netflix really dropped the ball by putting their eggs in one basket on shitty netflix originals, not surprised they've lost revenue

Netflix dropping isn’t that much of a surprise when you look at the inflation effect. People need more money to afford the vitals like food and bills, less discretionary spending. It makes sense that streaming services are first to go. It’s weird how I’m apparently some kind of baller having DirecTV, but when you add up how much people spend on all these different streaming services after “cutting the cord”, it’s really not much for money saving unless you’re sharing passeords eith friends, and if they cut back on that…

this makes sense.

Also netflix has pissed a lot of people off with their canceling of shows. Multiple times I have got invested in one of their shows, just for it to be canceled after 3 seasons and 0 closure.

Add into that the price hikes and loss of good shows to other streaming services its a bad recipe.

Now they are talking about not allowing sharing somehow, hell no. I will gladly not use netflix anymore. They just simply don't hold their weight....while prime, HBO and Disney+ are starting to hit above their weight.

It's amazing Netflix hasn't lost more subscribers with the amount of content they've lost. I wouldn't pay for it, I do sometimes access through a shared account. If they start cracking down on shared accounts there will be some backlash that might lead to a downward spiral for the company as a whole.

I think the big thing everyone is missing on Netflix is they’ve basically peaked with subscribers. Everyone’s got a Netflix account now. They can only really lose subscriptions now. The growth is basically stunted.

Roughly 221mil worldwide subscribers, with an extra 100mil in "unauthorized users" such as different households sharing accounts. I wouldn't say everyone has a Netflix account... Not even close lol. It's significant because it's the first time in a long time they've had losses like this. Multiple factors at play. I've got most of the streaming services and imo Netflix still probably has the best selection of original content as well as non-original stuff and their foreign library is impressive. A 43% drop in market cap is a bit excessive considering the overall picture.

Yeah this is part of it. They're trialing this idea in Latin America and it's not going over well. It's still pretty avoidable. Hulu has pretty strict geofencing sometimes and even that's avoidable.

You're in luck congress llc for some retarded reason outsourced money printing to Federal reserve at interest, and yet, US Inc was chartered as a self-funding corporation which can print money ad infinitum at 0% interest. Problem is income taxes has to be captured and destroyed upon receipt to account for inflation. Federal taxes is not for welfare, it is a tax on the economy.
