Stock market

Let’s all talk about a stock the. Buy it then let it drop to almost the same price we bought it at tomorrow. Yay. We did it everyone

Whelp made $100 yesterday on that out and rolled everything into BNGO 8/20 $7c, BP 6/18 $28.5c, and NIO 7/7 $42c’s. Time to make some coin.

Flat week. Boring. I’ve been sitting on some profits, waiting for a dip, holding them in bitcoin for now, might just keep it there

Last week was a good week. Bought CLOV at $10, sold at $16. Bought WISH at $8, sold at $15. Averaged down on a bunch of stuff. Holding NVDA for split. TLRY, WKHS calls, WISH puts.

Made some guap on phillips 66, conoco, mazda, bmw, and ESTE.

That said I bet a lot of people are feeling the hit when crypto took a shit

God it still hurts. I hope the wave hasn't crested I was anticipating a fall bump, like many many others were.

I hate to bring up meme stonks but tell me one of you bought AMC hype and are living it up right now. What a wild joke and it's holding for no apparent reason other than hope and prayers?

I lost about $800 or so when crypto went to shit, but whatever. I reinvested in eth during the last recent dip and with it rising the past week Ive already regained most of it.

Wow this thread died. Anyone got any good tips? There's been a lot in here that have made me some $$

Tldr below: solid science. Less AEs. Some supply chain and contract issues that appear to be solved. Multiple emergency use applications submitted or will be shortly. Easy swings to time. Their history and track record sucks but to me this is pretty obvious. Don't quote me but $300 by eoy and then $400 by end of 2022 wouldn't be outrageous.

Anyway posting cuz this stock is so volatile even with good news. Up down up down up down. US eua is not the biggest aspect to them but the price is very much influenced by it. For example there was a good run up to earnings. The company released great press imo but it tanked because they said not filing with FDA until Q4, regardless of the fact they filed for emergency use in India/Indonesia, Philippines and will file with WHO in August to supplant the covax countries, and pretty much every other major developed country (except china/Russia) within "weeks" lol. Their vaccine was pretty similar in efficacy to pfizer/moderna and even better in some circumstances, and their booster for delta variant was positive in early testing. Their product is old vaccine tech and uses refrigerator storage. People apparently have forgotten that the majority of the world is NOT vaccinated so the opportunity has not yet passed. You can pretty easily predict the major price swings and there seems to be a good amount of resistance of around 180-200. I've just been buying the dips and selling the peaks.

I am very disappointed they aren't apply earlier to the FDA because I think being an inactivated vaccine with the same tech as vaccines we all have received, this could potentially help improve our vaccine rate by administration to those hesitant to mrna vaccines.

Anyway it might drop further before going up, but this will certainly go up. No doubts about that.

Yup same. Its looking like its going to be just as good this year for me too. The safe funds are paying well lately.

That said, I still trade on my own and am doing well with that, but these hedge fund returns are money.

PFE needs to go on a nice run now

Probably won't. They're too much of a blue chip. It's like when a big drug company gets a new drug approved, the price barely budgets.

And dammit I missed the bell by a minute today. Was gonna sell some nvax shares before it dropped but got busy at work. Fucking christ.

If anyone is looking for a long term prospect, with some shorter term momentum events, look at Trevena. I've held this for a while and have made quite a bit buying and then selling on the way up to news events. My average is low but strongly considering adding a few more shares. Their pipeline is interesting and the drugs are based on a novel pathway.

This would be a very high risk, high reward type of deal with a timeline of 5-10 years if they are successful in other areas of their pipeline.

Anyone into penny stocks?

Not preferably no, but unfortunately a lot of early, small cap biotechs are in the penny territory so I technically have/have had a few. Some work out and some don't. Definitely not something to put money that you can't afford to lose 100% of cuz you can lose it all.

If you want to lose all your money in pump and dump schemes, play with those. Otherwise, invest in real stocks with real business valuations and assets/income to back it.

Wen CLOV moon?

China/foreign stocks are on a tear right now. Some to watch out for: CPNG, JD, TCEHY, TME, BIDU, BILI, BABA

They had a huge drop a month or so ago and I assume this is the start of a rebound. I'd toss some cash into them but don't have extra at the moment.

Also NVAX is still bobbing up and down so fair game for day traders. I have since stopped selling as with submission or approval news anywhere, this will fly and I don't wanna miss out.

Bro do you realize the dog shit you own with the Chinese stocks ?? The terminal value is 0, do not touch with a ten foot pole.

They aren't even the real companies, just variable interest entities that may or may not have a claim on income from the mainland and the Chinese government can decide are illegal at will.

Disclosure: small position in API, PDD that will eventually be liquidated

Thank me later.

I've made 50,000 in a day by doing degenerate call options copying the options of politiicians, which by law, their stock buying must be public. I don't like the ability for people to make money out of nothing though and I think I should be executed because of it.

Excited for this btc run. That ETF is going to make some interesting waves. Was expecting a halving this December but it may carry through until next year with this rise.

BTC etfs should have little effect on the bitcoin market other than retailer getting hyped. BTC futures are already established and traded on the US market. The ETFs will just be trading with 1/3 of its fund on BTC future margin and effectively banking the rest. The futures are already inflated higher than standard futures. There is no backing by any coin at all. The only tie into actual coin will be the other side of the future trade, the person who sells the futures contract to the fund. They will likely hedge with actual BTC, but charge a premium for the risk it involves.

Without the SEC or other major trading market accepting the actual coin into their market in some form, BTC and other coins are still in their own little world of volatility.

Anyone think F is still a buy at these prices? I bought a small amount when it crashed in 2020 but even with no dividend right now, their EV progress is promising enough to make me consider buying more.

Eh, kinda worried about their quality control. They don't have the best track record for qc on new vehicles (i.e. explorer recalls) and with the EV side being so new who knows if it will hold up in a year. But they are the most promising major car manufacturer entering the EV space.

I remember watching something about how vehicle companies are so fluffed up with bonds because the govt deems them too big to fail, that their prices are beyond inflated. It could have been an older video so not relevant anymore but worth checking out. Their lightning is going to crush I'm so stoked on that thing.

I bet it would be safe, but I'm not sure I'd buy now. If long term do it 100% just don't watch it lol I think ford and VW now that they've cooled off are really safe bets for near-future EV production and rising stonks
