well i knew that but someone said that the factions die on rails but they seem like more of an all mountain ski because of the demensions compared to the stls

well i can say of durability bec i nvr skied em but they both be sick in park. I know Faction is handmade so they should be durable, and i cant remeber if 4frnt is but i think they are handmade.

dillingers are made to excell in all conditions, park/pipe or pow. since there the 169 i wont be using them but they ripe the whole mt for the young guns just like the wednesdays, 178, rip the whole mt for me

i prefer about a 78-80 underfoot

a wider waist means more stable landings. fujatives have a 85mm waist and they are a park spesific ski. so ya alot of people use pow skis like seth pistols and BC's in the park and have nothing but good things to say about a wide waist in the park

what about on rails?? im mostly afraid of weight like, if i got them i'd put the look jib bindings so i dont know how heavy it would be

ya there light to begin with and once u get used to the weight of your skis u dont notice it. + bindings are right at the foot so that weight there is alomost a moot point.

STL's are 84mm underfoot in the 183cm.

They have a 2 year warranty, and are the most durable ski out there.

They have p-tex sidewalls which makes the ski incredibly light.

The core is maple in the middle, with Aspen at the ends to give it more pop.

So what's better about a Faction?

im not saying 4rnt is worse than facion or that faction is better than them but we build the skis we want to ride. No cost cutting - no compromises. We spend over 100 days per year on these skis and we build them to last.

Full laminate construction Poplar/Beach wood-core skis. No cap construction, no foam. Full vertical ABS sidewalls. Fibreglass on top and underneath the core extending right to the edge. Full length wrap-around steel edges. 2000 grade p-tex bases chosen for durability and resistance to impact.

who cars about the stl? if u want to campair the two brands of skis i suggest u do so with the MSP in a 180 to the faction wednesday 178 and the msp 170 and the faction dillingers 169.
