I'm pretty sure this has been asked and i'm sorry, but stl's or thall's. I'm 6'2 190, these would be for mostly park, no serious skiing outside of the park.

STL - would say the THALL's but you are a big dude and they just probably aren't enough ski for you, and the 183 STL's would be gravy

yeah...STL's have a good size for you, but thalls may be too short

Jeepers Creepers, where'd you get the neat sneakers?!?!

if ur not doin much else besides th park,

T-HALL FO SHO! cuz thats what they're built for, the park

holy poop on a stick

Well, I have 176 AR5's and I'm 5'10. They are mounted 2cm forward, 2.5 cm from center. They feel small when I ride them, I had no difficulty changing to them from 161's. This guy is 4 inches taller, and wants to ski a 176? It's just too small.

im 6'2 145 lbs and i ski 179 seth pistols in the park. im going to try and save up to get some 189's for powder and cruising.

first, some of you guys are actin like stls arnt a park ski. they are not only a park ski, but the sickest one ever made. i would have no doubt that they would out preform t halls everywhere, in the park, outside it, and in regards to durability ect. plus, they dont even fit you, so wy would you ask? head high is pretty much a minimum, because park skis are center set, and have big twin tips. all of thiss makes them ride shorter than they really are. plus, to make the deal even sweeter, 4frnts are cheaper.

i looked on google but all i could find was 3D Animation porn-sxmarty6

ECS headwear, hit me up!

well i've skied 177 1080's for the last 6 years (i was hesitant to go that short, but it's the longest they made). 176 is short, and i'm guessing the thall's are too soft for me. It's always fun jumping from my 188 k2's to 1080's, it's like where did the skis go?

STLs = softer than Thalls. I'd suggest a 185 V-pro if you're not into the soft thing, or a 182 Scratch BC if you are. Of course, almost everyone on this site is an STL whore, so they'll just tell you to get those. I'd say you should get what you think meets your needs. 176 in park doesn't seem to long to me (and I'm not that much smaller than you), but it's personal preference, so...

^ Those skis mentioned are both stiff in comparison to the STLs and Thalls. Get some 1080s if you want noodles. Or maybe some older LINE skis.

>Matty.

Selling a plethora of stuff. Message me if you need anything.

East_coast: I understand you love your stl's...but have you ever even skiid the tanners, or are you just guessing that they're better in every aspect of skiing? Maybe you should try them before you make such judgements.

haha, you know how the thall's come with a detuned edge underfoot... well a shop near my house tuned up their thalls, i laughed my ass off for abot a minute, then left

Let us have a revolution

Hello Rock the 180cm AR5? They are as good in the park as the Tanner and a little burlier and longer! The STL is a joke has anybody here ever flexed it? It makes the Fujative feel like a Volkyl. I deal 4frnt so don't get me wrong the MSP is rad and I own 180cm AR5s and 176cm Tanners and this guy would dig the 180 AR5.

^Hey SkiMasterCockShoveUpYourAss, the have you ever skied the STLs, no you haven't, do you know why everyone on this site is an STL 'Whore', no you don't. They're a dope ski, and yes they're flexy when you bend them in the shop, but in two places, the tip and the tail, but the middle is really poppy so you can still boost yourself out of your god damn sox. get the STLs they won't sux like other skis mentioned in this forum, like Armadas.

Oh yea, relize this, If you take away armadas team you have one thing left, another shitter ski company putting out the Rossi scratchs with new graphics.

ok done now

one word: BULLSHIT

I faced this same question and ended up going with the STLs because they were a little cheaper and also, my ski shop couldn't get in touch with the Armada rep =/

I'm really happy with my STLs, they are easily one of the most fun skis I've ridden on, just edging out Fujis. Some people on here are so amazingly biased towards or against one company or another, so this is really going to be up to you. If you can get out and demo, definately do that.

I've never ridden the T-Halls but I'd imagine with similar flex patterns and sidecuts that they'd ski about the same, which I might add for the STLs is not too great out of the park. But again, it's all personal preference. If the height and price isn't an issue, go with the T-Halls.

One little side note - my STLs have held up on rails great and I must have slid like 40 the other night, but some people have had issues blowing out sidewalls and edges. Haven't really seen many T-Hall problems.

'STL whores?'

JD, maybe people like them because they're a good ski and hold up. At least they're not Rossi whores, and I'd rather jock a ski designed by an athlete, and not some French fag in a cubicle who's designing scratches.

Get over the fact that the little guys are building better skis than your precious Rossi's. And a 185 V-Pro??? That's the WORST recomendation I've heard. Get a clue...

yes, its legit...not proctorjones in nashua...ken jones in manchester...I bought them for that price last weekend....^^and do you really think the guy that designs the skis in a cubicle doesnt know how they ride...I'm pretty sure that the athletes tell them how to make the skis bud...otherwise theyd suck terribly...god you guys are naive.

''And a 185 V-Pro??? That's the WORST recomendation I've heard. Get a clue...''

Acutally, you're right, that's a horrible recommendation, explicable by the fact that I MEANT to say 185 Karmas. My bad. But for whatever reason people like them, this site is full of STL whores. I've never seen a ski hyped this badly. It's bordering on absurd.
