i found some stls for $325 new and also was considering invaders for $289. im about 60%park 40% grommed runs. I have heard about invaders delam, but was told they still ride nice in park, but i came across the stls at a decent price i think and was wondering anyones input on those?

if you have been reading any of these forums lately, you can prolly tell what my answer will be.

STL, HANDS down. no joke, it is an AMAZING ski, especially if your gonna be spending time skiing outside the park. this ski can definatly hold its own at speeds and in turns (this years). the invaders and thalls are both great park skis, but they are garbage outside. the STL is just as good in the park, and WAY more fun outside it. i absolutely love mine everywhere i ski um.

stls for sure dude...all the other skis that u have listed are really flexy and i dont hink u will like them outside the park...

imotion- friend is selling me stls because i showed him the ebay price... thx be calling me a retard u ass

i think im going to buy the stls for sure now, thx for helping me out guys

STL's, i have invaders and love them to death but im so mad about my topsheets coming off after the 2nd day because personally like skiing on skis that dont look like i took a rock to the top sheets, but i think STLs are made to last a little more then my invaders,

When it really comes down decide for yourself

yes 1 year but they stand behind their product unlike some other companies they understand that they are building park skis and the skis will be used on rails and shit other companies like line and armada will not replace skis even under a year if there is rail impact damage ive had awsome luck with 4frnt. A true freeride company theres an easy decision for u. get the stls.

alright got me there...you seem knowledgeable...tell me about why my topsheet may be coming off after 4 turns

kk here goes...the t-halls are a waste of money cuz they claim its a "jib ski" just cuz they dulled the edges...you can get the exact same performance and feel out of the ar5 if you want it...

the stl's are a wicked riding ski, solid everywhere, but the edges crack way too easily and the bases are shit...in my opinion they're not worth the money either way...

invaders are a solid ski all round as i've been told by my friend (twintipin13)...thick ass edges and base, stable enough to ride anywhere if you know HOW to ski...and if you buy a pair that was produced after november sumthing you're in the clear...

out of the 3, i would go with the invaders...i had stl's, liked the ride, hated quality...t-halls are sweet cuz they're black!! hahahaha but pointless otherwise...and invaders are cheap, strong, and fun...

get the point?

T Halls are built differently you stupid piece of shit.

Inavaders are falling apart more than any ski since shit i dont know when, maybe more complaints then troublemakers . I do agree with you though, you can ski any ski anywhere if you know how to ski but it doesnt mean its gonna be fun.

yea i actually havent heard any shit talk about dynastars this year...might want to look into those lol

yea im riding a pair of the older trouble makers...beating the SHIT out of them and i havn't had any huge problems...i know the t-halls are built differently but its such a small difference that its barely noticable...i've ridden both and could do the same shit on both skis...as for invaders, they're DOPE skis, few people have had problems with them...but the skis with problems were ones that were produced before the "actual" model came out...most of the fucked ones with the "prototypes"

i have invaders. rode 2ce. i just finished epoxying some dings in the side of my ski from the topsheet pealing about a cm and other places where i can see the core, if they start to delam thro some epoxy in there and get them riveted and they will be awsome skis when it comes to durability. but for the way they ski, they are sooooooo mcuh fun like they are crazy how they feel when skiing, EVEN DOWN GROOMERS!!!!

hey, i've never really looked into the stl's and i'm kinda thinkin they look sweet. but i'm not sure, are they pretty flexy? or do they run on the stiffer side?

last years stl's were pretty figgin soft...fun to ride, yet still somewhat solid everywhere. this years are apparently a bit stiffer, dunno how much though

hahahaha. wow. dude, thalls and ar5s use TOTALLY different cores. the only thing thats the same is the dimensions. the flex is SOOOO diff in those skis. ar5s are fairly stiff, specially in the tail. thalls are way soft.

and no, invaders are crap. they might ski nice, but this season, i wouldnt go near um. i dunno about you, but not skiing for 2 weeks while your skis are being warrentied isnt fun.

and about the stls to the kid who was asking. buy um. they are super light, super snappy, and fairly flexy (softer in the nose, stiffer in the tail). last years were TOO soft, this years are perfect.

hey dont get stl's they are vary weak in tip and tail and are known to break....and invaders look cool but dont ski cool.to tell you the truth if you are looking for a kick ass park ski look into the ninthward mip or the mik D's both skis are inovating the sport .i know they are nore expensive but it is worth it!

stl's are really solid skis, had thinnish edges last year so naturally they busted hella easy...almost as easy as tm's...they were soft eough to dick around on but solid enough to ski anywhere (i rode the 183cm last year and i was 6'2" bout 185lbs)...never ridden invaders but have heard really good and really bad things about them...id say if you can get your hands on a pair of cheaper stl's from this year do it up

yeah, i hope you bought skis already. and just for the record, EVERY SINGLE pair of invaders ive seen this year have broken, some within 2 hours of touching snow. stls are fuckin amazing. and no, last years were far too soft to ski anything but rails.

well thats a pretty major problem isnt it? topsheets getting ripped off, skis delaming, getting messed...

I love the way all three of these skis ski but with the current Invader debauchal I can't recommend anyone buy them, I mean I have afreind who weighs 125lbs and he busted a pair in three days and not just the topsheet peel they actually opened up in the tip. I have owned the T-hall and I currently ski the new STLs and both rock my socks. The new stl is stiffer than the old one and stiffer than the t-hall so it skis all mountain better. They're both awesome in the park. Go witht the STL. You can get it at my store right now for $385 we have all sizes.

I would tend to go with the STL's because the other skis pure park flex and disign will take away from your ability to actualy ski, In general I believe the stiffer the better, And if the STL's are on sale that much then go for them.

Are you guys serious? Where did you all get those thing?? 4frnt have not a better warranty than any other company. They used to be a 2years warranty, and after they droped it to 1 years, and now with the experience I had with them I would say 0 warranty.
