anyone have experience on any of these skis? which would be better for park riding (mostly booters and some rails) and really buttery with a ton of pop. I was looking into picking up one of them and i'm not sure which i'd go for.
i have the mik ds, loads and loads of pop, durable, buttery in the nose, stiffer in the tail for big landings, extremely light ski, and fun to jib around on, they are amazing
yeah thats a really good deal. But 4 frnts aren't that great in the durability department. If you don't like your topsheet getting chipped up then you might consider something else.
i would say stls, theyre great skis, ride amazingly well, but the duribility sucks. i just had mine delam/ tip edge pull out. warrentee, but its a hassle.
how would either hold up for say a 30 day season? i'm on the east coast and don't get out all that often.. once a week at least, maybe 2-3 in the spring and summer, but yeah.. i don't really need a ski that'll hold up for 50+ days
My crichtons are soft in the nose and stiffer in the tail. They seem to be holding up pretty good too. Very easy to get the ski to load and pop when you want it to.
i've had my stl's for 15-20 days so far and they are doin really well. a few topsheet chips but nothin large, no edge cracks and i do quite a few rails. with 30 days a season you will be fine
