so after months of drooling and saving of dinero I finally have my STLs.

These skis are nothing short of amazing. Since I'm coming off of Trouble Makers these skis feel as Light as a feather, which they are (this is proven by the fact that on their specs sheet their weight is listed in grams). I got mine Center Mounted and I suggest any else who gets them do the same, they ski the mountain amazingly and are perfect for butters.

My first day on these boards I had a rail jam, so I hit the hill at 8am and did rail after rail until 4pm when I competed in the rail jam hence doing more rails. After sliding about 100 rails I looked at my skis, the bases were slightly scuffed but nothing bad, and my edges were getting a little dull, but not nearly as bad as my TMs after their first 100 rails.

There is one little edge bump, but that was caused purely by rider error, and if I had hit the begining of that rail like that on my TMs the edges would have snaped like dry twigs.

I give these skis a rating of 9.5 out of 10, so in other words, they arn't perfect, but they're the colosest thig to it that I've skied on

fuck yeah. i am also coming off tms,. and now am on STLs. such a sick ski, and indestructable ( idont know what you guys who broke 4frnts are doin, but mine just wont break). the ptex sidewalls straight up dont chip or slice, and you can feel how light they weight. i would suggest steeles mount though, cause center mounted actually gives you a longer tail when you have bindings on. steeles mount is effectively center. but the best park about these skis, is the flex. they hold a good edge, and feel stable at speeds. but kick back in your boots, and they will jump at least 2 feet off the snow without a question. they hold pop so well. butters into ollied 3s are no problem. they ski amazing. if your looking at any kind of park ski, look here. i garentee you this ski will destroy jib specific skis like fujatives and t halls for jibbing, and unlike them, they have the stability and strenght to hit big jumps and haul ass. sick sick sick ski.

Whoaa ^ i TOO am off of TM's, and onto 167 STLs....... everything about them is sick. i recomend STeeles mount. i will never center mount a ski. They are durable... except that fact that i snapped the tail and i don't think they will warranty them. thats shitty eh? yeah... only skied them 2 weeks. Oh well. they are good skis.

man, i just got stls, 183 and am lovin them. I just came off of candides, (no money), and am loving them. they are gereat all around.

Girls only want to date guys with good skills, like nunchuck skills, bowstaff skills, computer hacking skills...
 
STLs greatest skis ever. And for the dude who snapped his tail, unless you hit the ski with a sledgehammer the ski shouldn't break, email 4FRNT and they should warenty them

nic. i saw some stls at my mountain and the top sheet was only held on by the binding. crazy, but prob not anything.

yea i have skied the STL's for about 12 times and they kick so much ass def the best park twin there is..... but it also kicks ass outside of the park....

^ have you skied an all mountain ski? the STL in no way kicks ass outside the park. and i didn't snap my ski with a sledgehammer. i dunno how it happened. the guy at my shop who contacted 4frnt called me back, but i missed the call, so i won't find out until tomorrow.

dude, that HAS to be warrentied. there is no way its rail damadge, and its a manufacturing decfect (probably a weak spot in the wood) and it would HAVE to be replaced. if they say no, call up sterbenz.
