help me out

i am 5 10 130 lbs

i ski almost all park

cuz i cant afford my alta pass so its just my pc pass

i am either gona get 174 surfaces or 177 stls

surfaces=90 underfoot

stl=82 underfoot

do you think the stls would give me enough float for the occasional pc pow

any suggestions would be splended

btw i like a really soft ski

so anything like msps is out

buti want something more original

i like supporting smaller companies and not riden something that everybody has

but it will save me 200

any other opinions between the surface and stls

i dont really know anything about surface, but the stl's are way killer. and that should be plenty for occasional powder, but if you're gonna build some b/c booters, get something fatter prolly. a lot of peeps have tlaked about takin pe's in some powder and said they were fine, and those are only 80 waist

Justin if you like wet noodles which i'm assuming you dont i would for sure ride the surface. Represent a company that doesnt send out gnarly lawers to get money. A.K.A. go with the surface

dude trust me stl 100 percent. you will be stoked if u ride mosyly park and ims ure u will be able to ride pow in them

I dont really think underfoot matters it makes it easier to land switch and regular. Maybe a little harder on rails but its something you need to get used to.

I skied the STL's 2 days ago in two feet of fresh and they rocked, I don't know what Lurpsteez means by 'wet noodle.' Ptex sidewalls are PROVEN to be lighter than normal ABS. And what's with the 'lawyer' comments? Did 4FRNT send a lawyer after you?

Surface for sure man they have way more pop than anyother ski out there. And when you take the Msps to any thing but pow they chatter like crazy

^What is your deal? That's the biggest load of crap! The MSP is one of the most stable twins on the market. It has a FULL MAPLE CORE, tip-to-tail. If you want chatter, go try a Pocket Rocket.

You like Surface and that's great, but don't go mis-informing people about other companies skis.

when i've skied on the msps they chattered when i was going fast. there for thats my opinion. If you dont like it to bad man.

Surface are way light for how fat they are hella camber and ALOT of pop in them. The only problem is the topsheet it kinda chips alot but most all skies chip

surface has some bugs to work out, being in there first season and all. get the stl unless your really really into pipe

stls, msp, ar5, or arv they are the best and they ryhme like that. like docta seuss! I wont but from a brand new company there is a reason why 4frnt and armada is so popular its because they are proven to be great. besides your friend who seems like a surface rep. I have never heard of them. So 4frnt armada= proven greatness Surface= greatness IN THEORY
