as the title says, lets say there arent any other skis than these sellout 07/08 ones. i can get the stl 183 for 400 bucks and the tnk 180 for 300.

i want em for primarily park (medium to big tables, medium to high speed) riding, also some rails. i dont care about how they excel in pow or on slopes.

i rode ar5s for years and liked them, but they delamed at the top, so i wanna go for 4frnt.

which one would you take?

i was just about to make the exact same thread. my ar5's got too small and im between the stl's and tnk's too, for the same purpose.

if you want stiffer bo with the tnk's. stl's are real buttery and not the best for high speed jumps or anything over like 40 ft id say. tnk's are super fun too.

Tnk is more of a pipe ish ski...so it is stiffer and a bit narrower

Stl is more park/jibbin so it is softer and a tad wider

from hereing what u wanna do id jump on the TNKs

you are partially right. but the tnk is actually wider than the stl. but its definatly more of a pipe and jump ski. stl is way good on jibs tho.

thx for all the questions so far.

but can some of you compare stiffness of the tnk and the stl to the ar5/6? cuz thats the only ski i can really say how stiff it is. like you guys could make a RANKING with the stiffest, moderatest and the softest of these three in your opinion.

so far i would say i go for the tnks, since i am hitting pretty-well-sized kickers all the time and can handle a little less agile ski on rails.

but if you rank ar5s and stls as about the same in stiffness, i might go for the stls, we will see
