FUCK

after a sick day of pow skiing with 6-8 new inches during the day,

and we build this sick kicker for the night

so

i hit it a couple of times and its got a nice lip

so i spin a steezt shifty 3 and land backseat

my hands somehow slammed down and i ended up slicing my thumb

its a fucking huge gash in my hand like almost 1/2 an inch and i didnt notice the cut until i had hiked the park like 2 more times.

So stitches tommorow morning and i dont think im skiing soon.

any ideas on how i can keep the thumb stable while skiing?

ns cheer me up my beautiful pow day has ended so shitty

I would just tape/prowrap the living shittt out of it, then wrap it up really tightly with one of those things people use to wrap ankles thats just a stip of stretchy fabric. Good luck with it tho, sucks that you have to miss skiign but it might be worth it to just wait, riping stitches open again is never fun.

Word

i dont think im actually getting stitches

since its on the knuckle of the thumb, they cant put in stitches they would rip after like 4 hours haha.

But theres no way this things gonna keep me inside cause sugarbush got 20 inches last 24 hours

To reiterate Charmander's point..just no pole it, you will have fun and there is less of a chance the scab or whatever will rip
