Im buying skis soon and I still can't decide? 2003 1080 171 with s912 binding and 1080 boot? Head Mad trix 172 with look bindings and 1080 boot? 2003 Line 1260 with new Line binding and Lange Jib Concept boot? HELP!!! IM BUYING SOON!!!!!

haven't tried any of those boots....but i'd go with the mad trix and the look binding too. Maybe look at the Rossi XX for a boot...it's a deadly boot and plus they match the ski if you like your stuff to match..

Line 1260's are the shit. I blew an edge on my 10.ex's, and rode my 1260's for a week in whistler. Had no trouble skiing anything. Besides with the new Line binding you cant go wrong. As far as boots, The rossi xx's are sweet.

eh i dunno....i think lines are kinda cheap, like i have nothing against the company cause the company is rad but i'd go w/ mad trix or 1080s

 
definately go with line... salomons ae shit. md trix are pretty cool but line has such good customer service and that new line binding is gonna own.

 
I heard the mad trix are sweet but they are kinda heavy with the pivot binding. The 03 1080s will likely be a sweet ski, especially with the spaceframe construction and the wide platform, but thats just my prediction. I talked to a sali rider and he said they were sweet, but of course they are gonna say that. Personally Id go for the sali's, but I just like they're skis, go out and demo both of em.

I am a big guy and the 1260's are super stable for me. Plus I have skied them on backcountry kickers and they are not to bad. So you should have no prblems at all. Plus the line binding prevents knee injuries during backward twisting falls (IE switch landings).

 
thanks guys...I guess it'll be the 1260 or Mad trix, its hard to pick tho. Atleast I have till October to decide.

lines seriously suck. floppy tail, they break like glass and they are little girly twigs. haha thats the first smack I've talked about a company, I guess that shows my distaste for Line.

Get yourself some scratchs or concepts son and be done with it. you'll thank me later.

dude even if your lines do break you will get a new pair in less then 2 weeks. no questions asked. but line is getting a lot better with ski construction. go with line

 
Im pretty sure that you can mount madtrix w/ whatever you want you just don't get the use of big air and big mountain mode
