Everything on the lens is perfect except a small part of the plastic that the lens hood attaches to chipped off. It doesn't affect holding the lens hood or the lens at all! It is barely noticeable!

I don't really see how that would work..

You could always buy it and later sell it. It will cost you less since I doubt the lens will depreciate $150~ in 8 or so months.

I kinda want, but I'm using that money towards cs6 mastersuite. If this deal comes out in the spring, i'd jump on it. great sharp lens.

Might hit you up in a few weeks if you have it. Really hoping to pick one of these up before I head to Africa for the summer.

i r fucking seriously paying 4 it.

I can't do all of my work on Avid alone... and CS3 just isn't cutting it for me anymore.

Would you steal a pair of skis?A team of very talented people worked super hard to develop this software, when you pirate it you just hurt the industry that you want to be a part of. How can you expect people to pay for your work when you won't pay for theirs?

Uhh, this is BS. I agree with this post if the people buying it are making money off of it, but for people who make edits for fun, there is no way they can pay 1k for software. And lets be honest, adobe and apple arent being hurt to bad by people torrenting their software.

Adobe isn't hurt, the people who actually buy the software is, if people didn't steal programs they wouldn't be priced so high.

Adobe Creative Suite is overkill for 95% of the users anyway, plenty of programs that cost a lot less or are free have the basic functions they will only use anyway.

And if you can't afford it that doesn't mean you should pirate it, it just wasn't meant for you.

The whole idea of adobe is they get you hooked on their products when you are young and make them easily pirate-able. Then when you join an actual labor force or run a firm taking in real revenue you require a license. People are used to using the best and are not willing to downgrade. If Adobe really wanted to go after the non profit amateur pirate I'm sure they could do a much better job.

Bingo. I have pirated them before (I had the whole CS5 suite pirated) but Now that CS6 is out, and I'm actually making some money off of my work, It's far smarter to just buy the hardcopy and not have to worry about getting sacked in the future for using pirated shit.

Also, Adobe makes so much money off of schools and businesses it's not even funny.
