stiffest ski

what is the stiffest ski out there for pow? i don't want any bullshit 'armadas are' from some kid who hasn't skiied them but i want some actual responses from actual riders. im hearing that mojos are but ive never rode em and wondering if that is true or is there somehting else. i ride on the pistols right now and they are noodly and i want something a bit stiffer so i can ride em in the east (i ride my pistols in the east as it is and its not that fun)

Volkls are noodles compared to a Igneous flex in a 260+. The stiffest volkls flex around 220, so a Igneous ski is like flexing a 2x4. If you are a hurt ass and cant afford high end skis, go with Volkl.

i rode on last year's v pros and they were stiff but i wants something as stiff as the v pros but more fat. i also has a lot of durability issues with the v pros. so i want something as stiff or stiffer but fatter with less durability issues. im thinking i might get the karmas but i would like something in the 93-99 underfoot range. i was also thinking about the pimp edition sugar daddies but they are just too long for me. any other suggestions?

You need the Volkl Gotama's. I havent skied them but I would emigine they would have a simalier flex as the v-pro. They are 105mm under foot. Mates that ski on them love them.

I havent had any problems with my v-pros. I find them to be a reasonably bomb proof ski. The Germans know how to make a good ski. Have have mates that also have them and they have stood up to street rails, and having to ski out landings on tar seal and they are still sweet.

If you get the gotamas go with next years model, I heard this years has some probs with the sidewall.

the liberty c-note is stiff as hell.

If you are considering a Gotama or Sanouk as a stiff powder ski think again. These skis are soft flexing and no where near a stiff ski.

are you joking^^^^? All of this years Gotamas have been delaming like nothing else. Its a sweet ski but delams like a bitch.

volkls in general have a lot of delamning problems. the volkl 6 stars have been delaming a lot though they are a killer ski. and i already have race stock fischer gs and slaloms so i don't need more racing skis. i want some stiffer fat twins.

Get some Igneous skis flexed in a 280. I'll be suprise if you could flexed them 1cm.

Volkl's Explosiv is stiffer than the Gotama.

Rossi B3 (195 cm only)

Older Rossi Bandit XXX

Dynastar Super Nobis

Wow! I didn't realize Igneous was back in business. They're pretty no-nonsense too.

heres also two more reasons why the igneouses are not good for me. i want a twin, and i don't got a grand to spend on skis. i think im just gonna get the made'n aks

Armadas are a stiff ski. Stiffest I've used anyways. I weigh 200 lbs and they are stiff enough for me. And I only have the AR5s. The ARVs are stiffer.

Dude thats why everyone does, Oh I dont have enough money to buy those 1 grand skis. Fuking save up. If you wanted a true stiff powder ski you would buy some Igneous Skis or DB Skis but I guess you are one of those fagots.

well since i own like 4 pairs of skis as it is, and a pair of fat skis already (pistols) plus the fact that im 5 grand in debt plus im in college, i don't think shelling out a grand for skis im gonna ride 4 or 5 times a year is worth it. im from syracuse ny, where there is NO POWDER and therefore it makes it not worth it to buy some 1000 skis, esp when i can get any other ski made from any other major company for pro form and esp becase it looks like im gonna get some made'n aks this summer.

But you are asking for some stiff skis for pow and where you live there isn´t pow I think you are wasting your money only to use them 4 times a year aren´t Pistols enough for that use?? If not I think that V-Pro is a good option but I don´t know how will they do on the groomed. Other optio is Zag Freeride 85. Some people didn´t like these skis because of their revolutionary design but I´m gonna buy them: stiff, fat, twin tip, short carving radius. I can get them for 500 USD with Look P12 bindings. Think about this

not fat enough... and btw, you can never have too many skis. i am selling my gs and slalom skis plus my rock skis so i will only be down to my pistols. plus my pistols have been drilled more than once so i dunno how much longer they are gonna last. this is why i wanna get some fatty skis that are stiff that i can ride all around. but i might get some made'n aks and then get some karmas or some STLs

Well Zag has 85 mm waist. You´ll probably think is not fat enough for deep snow but if you look to the extra long tip you´ll understand that is wide enough for all kind of snow, even the deepest

134 mm nose width 220 mm nose lengh 113 mm tail width. It´s strange but it really has a very good flotation.

If you think this is not fat enough for you there is another model with a 93 mm waist and the same concept of oversized tip (141 mm nose width and 118 mm tail width)

I think this is the best all in one ski and soon we´ll see big brands copying this concept

My quiver consists of 4 pairs of skis and trying to make it 6 before I hit 19. I always buy I my ski gear before high school is done becuase I know I will have sh*t for money and will be live in my van.
