So, Im adding to the quiver and looking for a ski to do it all, other than park. Im 6' 195 lbs and will be mounting them with Hammerheads.

These are what Ive narrowed it down to:

189 One Life

188 S7

188 CRJ

186/191 BG

So NS, I seek your intelligence.

BG's are stiffer that S7's and CRJ's, but its been a while since I've flexed a One Life, I honestly couldn't say.

I rock Live Life 2s up here in the U.P. and they have a pretty sweet flex pattern. Really stiff underfoot and a little softer in the tip and tail. Stiffer than S7s by a lot, haven't ridden the other two. I've never felt like I was gonna loose it while charging as hard as I could. Also check out the Live Lifes, my friend up here is getting them and putting axl's on them.

Most likely. I'm kinda hard to miss being the only skier at ripley with tight pants on pow skis all the time. lol

my one lifes are really stiff but honestly unless you are in soft snow all the time get something else. I mean they're ok on the hardpack and definitely manageable and you can have some fun but they are just not that stable and feel sketchy when you start goin really fast. in pow or even a little soft though, they absolutely kill it. too much fun

Well I guess the Super7 ( metal laminate) is coming in a 188 next season

Anyone ski a Super7 on NS?

the one lifes are fucking stiff, didnt really like them unless i was in completely untracked pow tho, s7s i thought were pretty soft to flex but havent skied them, demoed the 195 super 7s did one run on a groomer and they were fucking awesome, so fun to rip turns on groomers, didnt ski em in pow

The 191 BG is slightly stiffer than the 186, and I doubt anyone here besides Ginko and Cobra have flexed the 191. The One Life is pretty stiff, but the Billy Goat is a superior ski.

The 188 Super 7 isn't any stiffer than the regular 188, but it does have a lot more rebound and pop due to the metal. The 195 Super 7 is a different animal. Much stiffer. It still falls short of the Billy Goat though.

Also sizing-wise:

186 BG is taller than the 188 Super 7/S

191 BG is pretty much the same height as the 195 S7.

J.DUKE probably meant to ask, of the stiffest skis here, which are the best fit to do it all.

Otherwise, may I take title to this question.

For me do-it-all includes somewhat decent GS carving on hardpack, also crud and shallower powder excellence, better than average nimbleness in trees.

Also, what if I add Fat-ypus D-Sender to J.DUKE's list?
