1080s are good skis but they sure as hell aren't stiff! I question the Armada's stiffness too. Doesn't matter though.

1080's are decently stiff til you ski em about a month, now mine are like noodles, but they are awesome for rails when they are flexible like that, they kinda wrap around the rail haha

pe's are stiff from what ive heard. ive never ridden them but ive seen them and they look pretty beefy, a lot thicker than most skis and with a wood core i see no reason for them not to be stiff.

i rode legends this year, and they are real sweet. nice and solid. if you want stiff go with somethign that has a wrapped wood core. (except line) stay away from foam cores. after a month or two, depending on how hard you ski, they will soften up. just bend the ski when you get to the shop. always a good test.

Volkls are really stiff, so are Atomic's. I wouldn't reccomend the 1080's I used to have them and HATED them.

K2s are not all that stiff... not soft, but not stiff, they are medium but have lots of spring.

Armadas are pretty damn stiff for a twin from what i hear. I honestly don't know about the Heads and Volkls, but they are probably pretty stiff, same with the Atomics.

the old 1080s start out being fairly stiff for a twin tip ski, but after a month or so they start to soften up considerably. after a year and a bit they were like noodles

i agree that foam cores suck, but the 1080s were really good skis for the first couple months, then they were only good. but they would be alot better if they had a wood core

i like stiff skis. but when you land backseat they murder your shins. from my expirence all skis are stiff when you get them they they loosen up... so it doesn't matter if they are stiff in the store cause they are new.

i bought the old 1080's (WHITE VINCENT DORIANS BIATCH). there really stiff but they are great skis. i love them, but when you do land in the back seat, IT KILLS YOUR SHINS (i know from my attempted 720's!!haha i suck at them)

 
mad_trix and tweaks are stiff, true, but waaaay too stiff. I have 10's and theyre perfect.. sum of my friends also have them and they said they became soft... i guess it depends on what you do with them.

Scratch FS arent very stiff at all..i guess they are like medium to noodle. I met some dude up in Tahoe who knows like Rory Silva and is buying is old Pow Air' Pro Rossi's from Silva becuz the dude has FS and didnt like the FS in all aspects cuz it was pretty soft.

I own some Pow Air' Pro's still and they are pretty nice..but after like 1/2 years now, they are like medium in sitffness.

and the old 1080s are pretty stiff.... like the yellow or blue X-Scream 1080's from like 3 years ago are hardcore......

but i got my new line darksides, which are stiff as all hell.....

if you need a stiff ski, go for voliants..... the machetes i hear are rock hard cause they're all metal top sheets.......

or get the line skogens.... frickin solid ski

1080s are a 50/50 ski (they are ok for dueshes but if u can clear a 5ft table they suk(not candides skis))

they are very fukin stiff when u compare them to other twintips, but if u compare them to race skis they are noodles.

The new Mad Trix Mojos are pretty stiff for twin tips, but that's how Olsson likes them. But they're fine if you land on your feet.

 
stiff skis are harder to land stuff with, they dont flex with you if you land backseat or a little off
