im in need of a stiff ski because im switchin to tele. none of the tele skis iv looked at really fit my taste of style, although i like most downhill skis. but anyway, i need a stiff ski. any suggestions?

I'm surprised to hear this as most tele-skiers prefer softer sticks. You don't want them too stiff or you won't be able to turn for shit.

Definitely check out some of the Karhu's, maybe the Jak...same as a Moship, but a bit softer as it's made for tele.

why would you want stiff for tele? if you're moving that way then dont get any tele specific ski. any alpine will feel stiff, but mad trix are stiff as hell.

not ragging on you, but thats wrong. at least for me and my friends who tele it is. i teled rockets for a season. flopped around on me while im making hard turns. anything but pow they liked to flop. so with that experience i want a stiff ski. when i go to push my downhill foot/ski down and forward, i dont want it going all over. i want it to stay and not flop. i dunno if you get what im sayin, but if you try it, it makes sense.

yea, it just depends on how hard you tele. the groomer skiers want somethin soft so they can cut in and turn, but when im haulin, i dont want a noddle under my feet.

are you stupid? tweaks are craxy light. unless they were the OLD ones with the plate. those are super light skis

I actually know a bunch of teleskiers and they prefer softer skis to stiffer ones, not sure why though, guess it's jsut difference in opinion.

you fool, tweaks are only 1500g, atomic bindings are heavy, the old ones. PE's are 1800g, TM's 1790.. and so on. tweaks/triplets are one of the lightest skis

 
yea my friend has tweaks and said theyre really light. but the said the atomic binders arnt exactly the lightest.

just to inform anyone who dosnt know, you can make any ski a tele ski. and yes i know about all the tele companys. im not new to this stuff. i just dont like the grahpics that much and id rather be sportin a regular ski.
