what does a sticky thread mean can anyone tell me

thread that dosent go away it "sticks" hence the name sticky

A sticky is a thread that is relativly important and mods believe that it should be shown to the whole NS community. And if a thread is sticky it remains at the top of all threads and doesnt move unless there are several threads that are sticky, and if there are they sticky threads will move amoungce (sp. word?) themselves
