Sticky box :S help

so i just finished making my 20 ft box and i realized that it is really sticky?:S i used HDPE and was told by this cult that its "lightning fast", but when i get on my box i only make it 10 ft? any suggestions? i already tried it without and wax and it didnt work, then with wax and it also didnt work...

because you don't have enough speed going on to it. Make a bigger droppin or water the box (that works best)

its sticky off an on... and definitely nothing like the slipperiness of a box at a ski hill....

its not the speed on the run-in, its the box thats sticky

dude put water on it. It's not going to slide like the mountain because the conditions arn't even close to eachother. just get some water on it.

that was my guess, but do you know that for a fact? like do you have a box thats sticky in the summer but okay in the winter?

nope, it just happens with all plastics, even pvc so..

try putting some dishsoap on it.

i start believing this as well, my hdpe box sucks when compared to my PVC one, altough when i cool it down and make it wet+soap it, it works a lot better...my guess is HDPE just works better in winter/snow...pvc works better in summer..

spray some pan grease on it, like cooking oil and then a bit of water but not alot, thats what i do with mine and i pick up speed on the box first hit after the grease
