Just curious i remeber seeing redbull stickers in thalls bases a while back and i was thinking , if you took all the wax off, put the sticker on the base then put wax over it would it work?

hmmm i have no idea... my friend has skis that are signed on one of the bases that he waxed over that hasn't come off so maybe it could work. that's a very interesting idea tho

really now, lets think about this

when you wax, you scrape all the wax off the surface of the base every time, leaving a clean base. so you would be on the sticker every time you ski

so no, it would not work, please use your brain from now on before making threads

dont listen to those noobs^ trust me it works. thats exactly how t hall made his skis

i've touched t-hall's xgames pipe cleaners before /claiiiiim

haha, but yeah, what they said^ especially tommy

It would work if you left a ass load of wax over it actually. I've seen a ski tip wrapped in duct tape (broken tip) and waxed over, was rideable. Better than unwaxed duct tape.

same here, they were in whistler at that store beside 21 steps breakfast. i asked if i could buy them (because they are like brand new) and he said $1000.

Step 1: trace the outline of the sticker onto the base

Step 2: get out part of base

Step 3. Apply sticker

Step4. Get some clear ptex and apply over sticker. OR if your base is clear just epoxy back down.

Step 5. Buy a new pair of skis because you probably just fucked yours up

You laugh, but a ski tech I know played a prank on his buddy who got a coreshot. Dude sank a dime into the base and p-texed over it when he fixed it. If you know your shit and are really that bored, go for it.

^^experienced shop tech can do that without a problem; just saying, i had a huge coreshot last year and my tech replaced a piece of base the size of a matchbox, without any trouble....
so the sticker underneat some clear ptex might work (if it adheres good enough....)
