Stickers are extinct?

So I've been grinding and emailing and saseing companies and results haven't been the best, local ski shops don't have much either, so if anyone has any I'll buy some

It took me two seasons of asking the shop to get a diecut sticker of my ski area's logo that wasn't one of those generic landscapes with the mountain name in plain text. Then I slapped it on a work laptop that shit the bed in six months ?

Do we blame Vail or Covid for this?

yk what’s outrageous arcteryx hasn’t sent a single member of my family any stickers with any of our purchases

I have the same problem. How can people know i have arcteryx stuff if i don't have their stickers everywhere.

I just got a package and it came with a monster sticker. I was gonna put it on my helmet upsidedown like harlaut but my season just ended so I wont get to use it until next season. I could still slap it on my skateboard but anyone who skates will know how stickers dont usually stay on for long. I cant think of any other places to put it though. If anyone has any ideas of what to do with it please let me know

IDK of this is considered "old school" now but when I was in high school (2011) I mailed out a bunch of pre stamped/addressed envelopes to companies who's stickers I wanted. I also added a little letter praising them and asking for stickers. I'd say about 90% of the letters I sent out came back with stickers. Some nice die cut and others the traditional sticker.

Might be work giving it a shot!

me personally I'm not a fan of monster stickers on helmets unless you a genuine pro. Feels the same to me as wearing a red bull helmet or goggles but not actually being pro

Damn I remember cleaning up by sending companies letters asking for stickers. I had a whole backstory n everything as to why I needed them and they always pulled thru ??

what backstory did you use?

Always hit the with the “I love your product and noticed you didn’t have an option to get stickers on your website. How could I obtain some stickers, I’d love to slap one on my car.”

I’m a racer and that I totally love “insert brand here” but I can’t find your stickers for sale anywhere. I’ll happily send some money to you if you could send me a couple.

Just try to be real nice/innocent about it all

I like putting stickers around places that I frequent. Telephone poles, stop signs, parking meters, etc. Kinda feels like a less intense version of tagging, and give me a little smile when I walk out of a bar/grocery store/my apartment and see a sticker I put there.

Honestly, I really want to I'm just... 1) bad at art 2) a huge pussy

Just start by practicing in a notebook, everyone starts out as a beginner. Art is like anything else no one is just immediately good at something from the get go. If you want feel free to dm my I can give you some pointers and advice if you do wanna try it out.

so do corporate advertisements, a McDonald’s add at a bus stop looks just as ugly to some people as graffiti looks ugly to you. Each person is entitled to there own opinion, I’m not saying that there isn’t some bad graffiti out there but if your honestly loosing sleep over something that doesn’t directly effect you then I think you got other things to worry about.
