STH2 and MNC Drill Pattern

I'm looking at getting some boots with gripwalk soles and it would be nice to be able to use them on my skis mounted with STH2 WTR 13 bindings without having to drill more holes.

Are there any bindings that have the same drill pattern as STH2 bindings?

I can find STH 16 MNC that should have the same mount pattern. I don't see any 13s. What's your DIN setting?

Thanks for the reply man, I ride 11 which should be fine for sth 16. So will sth16 mnc have the same pattern at an sth2 wtr?

Sth2 wtr work with gripwalk soles, you shouldn't need to change bindings, just adjust toe height

Is this true? I've heard this before, but I asked my local shop and they said they wouldn't do it, are they wrong?

Pretty sure the tech manual got updated to include gripwalk last year, I would run that setup without worrying about it.

Just checked the current tech manual, sth2 wtr is good to go with grip walk

Gripwalk is one of the biggest gimmicks in the ski world. Not easier to walk in just different.

ehhhhh that's not true, it's a significant difference for the vast majority of skiers from my experience talking with customers. I'm not saying it's absolutely needed but it is noticeable. When I switch form my Hawx XTD to my Redster boots, it's quite terrifying to walk around in plastic soled race boots after the nice grippier/curved sole on the XTD.

I know you're a core skier, but cool yer jets.

I'll take the strong toe pick of a plastic sole boot to get into ice. Instead of walking around the ice with grip walk soles b.c they are rounded. All my customers hate the confusion of binding compatibility just like this forum was made for. Do what chall like but it's a gimmick.
