ok so im getting a new pair of skis, i am getting the nordica Soul Rider. The Dimensions are 134-97-124. Im looking for the lightest binding that is the most reliable. Also willing to buy any if people has any for sale! post in here what your thoughts are on each of the bindings for this type of ski. this ski is alot like the Line Blend

Why you want the lightest binding is beyond me. It won't affect the swing weight at all. In terms of durability pivot>STH>jester. That's all you should care about.

Look at it this way op.... The lighter the less durability unless you don't go hard. If your a bigger guy i prefer you get looks or fks. If your more of lighter guy then markers will work great for you. But might not last as long as look or fks bindings. My brother has some really light look bindings on his ON3P's and there very durable. Such an amazing setup.

park ski, for better refference i am 5'8" 140lbs. and i do abuse my shit, but i have FKS now and its a love hate realationship

dont get marker ive have sooo many problems with them:

there breaks bend like hell so they always get fucked up

they dont have that smooth click in

my friend went for a misty 7 and fell forward and the heel piece ripped right of the track pad

dont like marker at all go looks

you'd probably be fine on a 14 din binding even if you ride really hard. I would recommend sth 16 or 14's tho they're solid bindings and not overly heavy. Plus the click in feels super soild.

Only my K2 Domain are equipped with Jesters. Can't say I'm happy or disappointed but my two other skis are equipped with Rossignol.I feel like Marker is more fashionable, I just see in the park more Markes than anything else, so I know bindings arn't a thing to play around and show off with but maybe kids feel like it's a trend...

Honestly, I don't think you should care about weight too much it won't effect much of anything even your swing weight. I think markers are a hit or miss and honestly I wouldn't take that chance. I've had Looks for a year or two and they are holding up fine. STH's are also a fine and durable binding and I would recommend them also. In my opinion I would go with either Looks or STH's whichever is cheaper, if you don't like FKS's, then get Look PX's.

Justin, you don't need anything more than a 14 din. Get STH 14's. Binding weight doesn't matter anyway.

I have ~15 year old Pivots on my rock skis. No problems.

I have 7 year old Look PX12s with >250 days. No problems.

I have 2 year old FKS140s with >50 days. Obviously, no problems.

Look/Rossignol will continue to be my binder company of choice. They have even worked well this year after I started shoving my Dynafit tech soles into them.
