Stevens Update

i was bored, gettin into the depths of myspace, and found this pic of trevor and chase in the stevens pass group

for the record i was never saying stevens sucks, just that they should get their ass in gear. is it up to the standards of two years ago? when they had their old park manager, matt gormley (who got promoted to events coordiator and youth director)? i want the channel gap back. i can see it now: carve corked 3 over the channel, so smooth, like butter. i knew they were working on the pipe all weekend, and figured they'd work on the park all week saying as how they have a slopestyle event saturday, which i will be at.

yea, their slacking was ridiculous! they just didnt keep up. and they cant slack again now, because there is no reason to slack.

the park is different, but not really that much.

they put up an up rail where the kinks used to be.

first three jumps are bigger, and poppy, but really hard to clear all three, because it is so damn flat. i dont know why they didnt space them further out.

then there is a downrail (formerly the up-rail) next to the c box. after that, there is an up box or you can hit the downbox, followed by the nasty double kink.

waterfall is still mega small, for what it's worth. not much pop, little hang time, etc.

jump after waterfall is bigger (quite a bit) with a much needed steeper landing, followed by another jump, which is poppy and of good size. around 50ft.

cockride looks like the cock ride has always looked like.

at least they did something, and it isnt too shabby at all. but they must make more!

oh and they were cutting the pipe during the day, which i have never seen before. the pipe dragon is definitely not as cool as the zaugg.
 
the landing of the waterfall is too flat for how steep the ramp is, but its still mega fun.

if the jump after the waterfall gets extended and the third built up (instead of just being a wedge) then that would be a dope line. then they could put like a 90fter next to the pipe.
 
The waterfall, the landing is not steep enough for how much height you get off the kicker, so it's a really hard impact.
