Stevens Pipe Question

So I just got back from a risk management seminar today and one topic that was brought up was the fact that pipes were disapearing from mountains all over the industry. My question to you is would anybody miss the pipe from Stevens? would you rather have two huge jumps right there and then we could trad the Zuagg for twenty new boxes and rails? What are your thoughts we are not getting ride of our pipe by any means I just wanted to get some input on what the riders thought..

I won't cry over it, I will jump for joy over 2 huge jumps that get

sun. so like two 70+ ft jumps? any chance of a step up (with large

gap) style jump? or transfer? oh right risk management. oh well.

new rails and boxes would be an awesome addition as well.

so summery

2 large jumps + 20 new rails/boxes > mediocre pipe.

my sentiments too.

I'm a pipe fiend. I think a top quality pipe is one of the funnest things to ski, but that quality is super hard to come by.

I think it would be a more practical use of resources, both in use of terrain and money, to have more big ass jumps and raills & boxes, especially if it was in the neighborhood of 20ish. That would be so clean.

It'll be scary to see the pipe go, and it would cause a hole in park options in principle (e.g. we have jumps, rails, but no pipe) but I think it's more practical to have more there, considering the cost, upkeep, and the relative low use of the pipe.

please make that a bit more obvious for Brian... You wouldn't miss the pipe.
It appears that we have a consensus here.

im not going to cry

"I think it would be a more practical use of resources, both in use of

i actually really hope this happens.

The thing about it is (if this would ever happen) the dirt from the summer dirt work could be molded into natual tabels no wedges but big decks and landings so the shape of the table is basically formed then all you would need is small amount of snow for coverage and weges. This is a other questions totally. next to the pipe skiiers right, do you think that it would be feasable to put two huge tables this winter? they would be sort of narrow because of space but if we got enough snow I think id like to try it.

I'm with Grant, I fucking love pipes. But I would trade a sub par pipe for a whole bunch of new rails any day.

arn't there trees skiers right of the pipe?

why not right where the pipe is?

this shot was taken skiers right of the pipe.

p.s. thanks grant for ruining an epic photo possibility.

there is trees there but there is still some space up top Im thinking taking proline down that way. Waterfall, Jrs were it was before we moved it and then jip and then you would ski around the right of the tree Island above the pipe then down to two huge tables.

I want to ski some pow first but more jumps are never a bad thing. I skied our pipe maybe 5 times at the most last year. Shit I just want the season to start now!

Why cant we just keep the pipe and get more rails and features. And snow is free, so why dont we just make the jumps too? I love to ride the pipe, but ours does need a bit better up keep.

your so smart, you should get a degree in economical land management. you really should with brains like yours, maybe with a minor in reading comprehension too?

fuck your pipe. and fuck pipes period. and smoking out of a pipe is straight crack head style! stevens should put in some hotels and a pool with a diving board.
