hey, to all yall who ski west coast, if I wanted to go to Whistler or one of those West resorts for likea week or more, would it benefit me to buy a season pass now, because then its like 200 for a pass now, or if i buy separate tickets its like $350 for more than a week?
Stevens park is super nice. It has a really nice flow and big hits. You can hit five jumps in a row it's so fun. They have a really well designed park with really nice table tops and a sweet step up. I'm not big into rails but they had some crazy ones. Yeah stevens is super sweet you'll have a great time there.
stevens is the shit. their terrain park is bomb, but after a year at central, you will want to leave. i hate that school and only stayed there for a night.

Oh come on...you don't really smell cow shit that much. It's corn silage that you smell more than anything and it isn't all the time. The rednecks are easily avoidable and the lack of coffee shops is a blessing. Less places contributing to the stupid American coffee/espresso addiction. And it's so easy to go lots of places from Ellensburg. 4 ski areas all an hour and a half or less away plus mass other stuff. And NO TRAFFIC. Yaaaayyyyyyyy!!!!
'When I'm mad as fuck you get shot and to some it's bad luck, I believe you held something back for too long, it grew strong and energy got its own will, and people think that we make music still, but music is there without you or me we just minipulate for better or worse so let it situate.'
Yeah, there's good fishin. Rock climbing, waterskiing/wakeboarding, concerts, biking, hiking, get drunk and float the river, bonfire parties, camping, chill at the ponds, etc.
It may be the best park in washington, buts thats not saying much, if your going to school, and your closer to Shweitzer in Idaho, GO THERE, you'll save money, ski at a bigger and better mountain, and have a muc better terrain park, the terrain park at stevens is crowded always, the jumps are icy and shit. And most weekends it takes you 20 minetes to get on the fucking chair its so crowded.
I beg to differ....I have yet to go to Schweitzer and ride a better park than Stevens'. Schweitzer spends less on their park than Stevens does, Stevens has better rails, the jumps are not always icy, and there's more varity at Stevens.
That's because you need snow for a park, and while it was snowing at Stevens, it was raining at Snocrummy. That's what 1000 feet of summit height difference will do to you I guess.
tyler has an inverted penis...stevens park is flatter than that 10 year old chick i fingered last night...and the pipe is even worse...not to mention stevens half pipe is really flat...
snoqaulmies park is gettin crazy this year.. like 5 new boxes all different and bunch of new rails and way better setup especially with good snowyear.. it will be good.

Yes C-Box...And you love it when I give you the double inverted nad twist.
Yes the park is pretty flat at the top...I won't argue that. And the pipe is too flat. But the upper section is still pretty good for rails. And the jumps were way better maintained than the Summits. Stevens is also limited by the Forest Circus in what it can do...much more than The Summit is.
As for you Chris...I never once saw a kicker at the Summit that was any bigger than the ones at Stevens. Stevens consistantly had bigger kickers that were in better shape.
Snoqualmie is deff stepping it up this year in their budget and rails and shit. But they still get less snow and they dick the park crew around more than Stevens does. I'm just saying that overall Stevens is the better place to be. I'll be hitting up Snoqualmie for sure this year. I hope that both areas have ill parks with some major improvements. I'm just saying that Stevens was way better last year.
But me...I plan on making mass trips to Bluewood this year. WA Superpark 2004!
All of the jumps at stevens have multiple take offs you can make any of the jumps pretty big by just hitting up the lip that is the furthest back. Maybe you should try that noteefa you SPED.
Del gato I hope you are kidding about bluewood. It has like 800 acres and nothing steeped that 30 degrees. It is a great locs hill and they get great snow later in the season. As for Schweitzer stay away it's terrible, plus I like having 2,500 acres of badass mountain all to myself every weekend it makes the tree hour drive worth it.
No way man...Dead serious....Bluewood Extreme I'm gonna go slide all their picnic tables and rally their walkways and jib lunch trays and jump off the chairlift and play chicken with snowcats and throw my ski poles up into the wheels on the towers and give away tickets for a free ski day with Jake Moe! Yaaaayyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

The summit has better people running it, our budget increased form about 23,000 a year to about 65,000 for the park this year. Plus we have alpental which fucking destroys anything stevens has to offer, sure there are more runs at stevens, but who skis runs these days anyway, it's all about backcountry or terrain parks and that is what the summit has to offer. Plus its way closer to seattle than stevens, and cheaper, and funner and and and...ya you get my point.
lift tickets at stevens are $1 cheaper than the summit... stevens has a couple runs of backcountry that you can get around 3,300 vertical feet in one run, yes. and theres a lot more of it too. but i dont care
jesus tits, why do you fools feel so bent on defending such worthless mountains. snoqualmie is crap. their park is crap, its icy and small and flat and all the rails are sketched up and dented and shit. stevens is crowded and for all the vertical you have its either barely accessable or really short. I defend Crystal in its BC... because its big and good. and yes, the pipe they are building will undoubtedly suck and be absolutely over run with pass pulling patroller fucks... because all those ignant volunteer assholes up their dont know up from down... so you have to bomb by a lot of them to keep your pass. here is the word: whistler is good. hood is good. bachelor is good. crystals terrain is good. alpental is decent... but low. everything else in the northwest is small and not worth mention. now no more of this talk of bad places.
