i wish i could be patient but when derek got an email from gormely saayin that the likes of it happenin well there arnt any. not untill like late for that comp. but there supossed to get snow monday. we shall all pray

or just stevens in general. there are some cool people, but overall, just doesnt quite formulate to SUCCESS
 
very true, hes a tool and the mangment blows. wheni spoke with an employee . i was told they have lots of moeny now due to all profit and no expenses but knwoin stevens it will go to family oreinted purchases( lodges, and etc.)

it would be a sick feature if the transition climbed UP the wall instead of INTO the wall

up here at whistler the wall ride sucks too. it is about 2feet high and is just a wast if time because the transition is non existant. the super pipe was nice though.
 
they could make it so much better, all they have to do is put more snow around it and shape it so you go up it instead of straight into it. but the waterfalls are in decent shape, they finally have some kick, perfect for 5s of all varieties.
 
That thing is a fucking obelisk. The only people I've seen get above five feet up on it have fallen on thier heads. And why the hell is it at an angle? Instead of one semi-fucked up in run they have two awful ones. Amatures... I am so dissapointed at the stevens park crew this year.
 
haha. im way more impressed with the park crew this year. they actually have taken some initiative to making a better park this year. we have 5 little jumps, 2 ok sized jumps, and the big waterfall that is decent sized with a great transition, lots of pop, and a sick landing. for having only about a 30 inch base, and in many places of the park less than 15 inches, im fairly impressed. sure, the transition into the cock ride is shitty, but other than that the park is pretty fun. especially the rollers! im not angry at anybody, but im voicing my opinion, and i feel sorry for anybody who is dissapointed with the park right now. honestly, we are getting peed on, have SHIT for snow, and the park crew is still out there every night grooming and shaping, give them some credit people.
 
I think parks around the country need to look at the example being set by Big Bears park crew in LA. It's hard to believe unless you've seen them in action, but they've definately got there shit together. I've been hearin everybody's talk about Snoqualmies rails and Stevens' super booter, stoked to check them out. Would be nice if it stopped fucking raining though...
 
update on the "cock ride". they moved it up the hill and the jump to it is actual vert making the thing do able and fun.

and this is for SLE- i would hate for stevens to turn into bear mtn, and i'm sure many others around the PNW would agree with me. sure, bear would be fun for a while, but the entire mountain is a park! how could you ONLY ski park??? that would suck massivly gigantic balls. yeah, bear is setting the standard for their boxes, but i would hate to see that happening to mountains around here. the quality of the shit needs to improve, not necissarily the quantity. a few more features (wallride, staircase, etc..) would be nice, but to transform our whole mountain into a park would be unfortunate.
 
hey snowsnowsnow, I didn't say the mountains around here should turn into big bear at all, skiing pow and back country is the shit, but we don't have it at big bear. Since all we've got is one big giant park, and since big bears park crew rocks, maybe crews around the nation should take notice.
 
I looked at that thing last night, what the fuck, the takeoff wasnt even near vert!!?! People are just treating it like a spine, going off getting 5 feet of air on either side. That shit needs to stop, and the takeoff needs to be more vert.

Whats the highest mark anyones gotten on it?
 
when they actually had a little bit of vert, i got about 3/4 of the way up, but its still a gay ol cock ride. they have plenty of snow too...
 
The box at the top of the park lights up on impact and I heard that the cock ride lights up too but I didn't see it light up. you can see what looks like a red light at the top of it.. anyone know if it truly lights up? and why it didn't when it was hit yesterday?
 
i was there with kohl at night a couple weeks ago when the trap box was still down by the pipe, and it was just flashing blue all night. and yeah the cock ride does seem to have a red light at the top of it.....maybe you have to touch the top for it to go off??
