Stevens Pass Thread 09/10

there is a pair of 181s in my garage with sth16s right now ;)

and if any of you want to text Etienne... i may have his number ;)

ohhhhhhhh, i want!

haha, etienne has texted me before (no homo)... i don't know if that is a weird thing to say, i feel like it is when i'm writing this, but i don't think it is...

Just as a heads up, it is quite probably that a bunch of people are going to be camping saturday night for the last weekend of the season. Hanging out, BBQ, BP etc. Will definitely be a good time.

That sounds like a damn good time. Need some more people for BP? I never thought about camping but if a bunch of people do it that would be fun.

I'll be up Saturday and Sunday, with all the demo skis I can fit in my car. We have:

191 Cease and Desists

191 Caylors

181 Caylors

181 Wrens

181 Blue Steele (Non Rockered)

181 Jeronimo

186 Billy Goats (2 pair)

176 Billy Goats

Its basically going to be first come, first serve. I'll be at my car (Green Jeep Cherokee with a cargo box) in the uppermost lot at 8:30am, both days. I'll be back for a half hour at 12 noon, and a little after 4pm to trade and collect skis. Basically going to let people take out whatever they want for the morning, then take them all in and redistribute them again at noon. I know we only have two park skis, it sucks, and it would be awesome if whoever gets them would let others take a few laps on the park during their allotted time.

If we've never met, you're more than welcome to try out a pair, just show up! If you come late, my cell phone is 2067783080, just give me a ring and if I'm in range I'll arrange whatever.

David, Billy, we're hiking Cowboy on Sunday.

pshhhh, kind homeless people would happily buy him one with his money in exchange for some (beer) money.

And I'm a perfect child in every way ever thought of possible.

I think in washington you have to register the keg under your name or some shit, so my ID won't work so I couldn't buy a keg. I'll buy a mini keg for you and you can pick up a real one since your over 21

I am almost positive it has to be registered. We always had to do that over at Central, shit was sketch cause everything gets busted over there.

Yea, but I am pretty sure you can take the tag off of it. I am not going to buy it as I am not 21, but there are 21 year olds that are probably happy to, if not we just won't have a keg, not the end of the world.

may just end up with flats, but keeping a keg wouldn't be impossible, bury it in the snow somewhere for the day, then pile a bunch of snow around it when you take it out at night.

how is the park looking for this weekend? with the rain? im probably going to be up there sunday. want to know what to expect

I would love to try a pair out. What all do you need from us, drivers license and our pair of skis or what? I have never actually demo'd before.

xl $50 any takers?

Drivers license just so I know who you and and where you live, should any of our demo's somehow walk away during the day...

I think I can trust guys though, just bring some sort of ID and phone number so I can get in contact with you should anything happen.

Basically brand new ON3Ps versus whatever they left? I think most people would be smart enough to make that trade.

But to say it succinctly, I'm super stoked for this weekend.

i would rather keep my skis than a pair of used demo's with ghetto bindings

buuuuttt thats how all other demo's work...you take their skis, they take your skis and info...

I never yet demoed skis without giving a credit card over.

Our demo binders are less ghetto than most. Which is nice. Not perfect. But better.

winter left in a hurry. that last hurrah was something, but spring is definitely here. good way to close the season at stevens at least.
ps. can i hike too?

supposed to be partially sunny. today was supposedly a little rain but i wasnt there so idk
