Stevens Pass Thread 09/10

last friday and saturday? They were too epic to film. If I find my cameras charger tonight then I may get some filming done tomorrow with blake(the talking orange icon wierdo) or powderhound.

TOO BAD NOBODY ELSE HAS TOURING BINDINGS ON A GOOD PAIR OF SKIS cause that would=better places to ski and film(I find filming myself is fairly hard). I'm wondering if that long rooster comb couloir has enough coverage this year..
 
fuck my life. it sucks having no parents around when all the other skiers in seattle are going to school so i cant get a ride up. (i cant drive yet)
 
sam I'm starting a foundation to raise awareness of the importance of touring bindings on my skis. Feel free to donate. The name of the foundation is the IWSDP Foundation. Created in 2010 the foundation aims to share the experience of skiing deep, hike-to, pow for myself.

im all for pow honestly. But it is a wee bit frustrated thats it dumping so much right before the hoedown..

but anyways suppppper sick day one of the best all year. snow was nice light and deep all day in places.
 
Stevens>mission any day that they have anywhere near similar conditions. you just need to actually learn stevens well thomas!

Today was soft and fast. Tomorrow probably won't be half as good but will have 5 times as many people.
 
Friday was unreal like everyone else has said. Some of the best snow I have ever skied, I couldn't believe it was April. Big Chief Bowl was soooooooooooooo deep, especially out near the frees.

How'd Hoedown go? I know blake, derrick, colter, and ryan all said it was a pretty wierd setup. Of the people normally at Stevens who did well?
