No, I'm asking if I was understanding it right, which I implied when I said "Is that all sounding right?". I could have also said "Is that correct?" or "Do I understand that all correctly because I have not been up lately and am curious as to what has changed?"

Anybody been to Hood Meadows lately?
 
oh i almost forgot who whispered/alien voiced armamda ladt night at 6 ish? you were riding up skyline and i assume your on NS?

is this in the pro line spots from last year? Last time I was up there was the waterfall and two jumps on the outer edge of the upper park...which had a great takeoff and were well made jumps, but were only like 4 feet to the knuckles...

If it snows a decent amount at Hood this week I might go with the Lotuses and Pipe Cleaners. Thanks for the update.
 
yeah i did mean hood. definatly don't make the journy for the park because it isn't that great.

went up (to summit) they made the jumps way less poppy, got rid of the rainbow box, moved the upper jibs around a bit, and put in a jib line to the right of the pipe.

it was icy at 9 in the morning on the upper face and just got worse and worse as the day went on.

talked to krush and k turner after jib this and it sounds like we may get a couple other comps this year. he mentioned something about a pipe comp and something towards the end of the year after pretzels and polish donuts. (maybe kinko de mayo)
 
yes i did mean hood. parks not worth making the trip out to but if it snows it is. ( i got first chair after it snowed 8 inches and was bluebird claim*)

its getting super icy up there eventually just stopped and watched jib this.

i cant say i enjoyed it.. it looked good but then when you hit it it just kinda..failed (maybe user error)

the barrel bonk was good though i felt like sammy carelson haha (jokes). im gunna be in oregon until new years so someone should keep me posted on what changes go on in the park and if we get new snow
 
You're leaving as we have the first storm in over a month coming. Meadows has a decent forecast too though.

barrel tower! sick edit, i enjoyed that.

DOT is doin maintenance today so expect lane closures. Traffic is reduced to one lane of alternating traffic. This is supposed to go on until noon-ish.
 
Park is fun...They need to make the barrel tower w/ a bigger takeoff and push water fall back a bit...the pop on waterfall is nice though

mustve been hard skiin all those park features while it was nukin up there. it's getting soft again... stay away rain, stay away
 
It rained last night and its raining again. Fuck you warming trends. Today was 1-2 inch of rain crust on top of soft snow. Fun to ski after it was broken up. I expect tomorrow to be similar. Unless it rains more tonight than last night, which seems very possible~
 
way too many gapers i got ran into by a fat lady and her daughter around noon and had to punch a gaper on wednesday. it was dumping though,
 
Dont ski hogsback lol? Every other lift has been more or less empty this break. Except for a mild amount on skyline I suppose (daisy doesnt count)~
 
Oh come on that was about 1 cm of rain crust up top and 1/2 cm rain crust down below. Certainly having the right equipment helped today but I had a great time, I even got a couple face shots. There was some truly great snow in place (and some not so good snow elsewhere).

new years day and the day before up there were amzing it snowed for 2 days straight

and night skiing in pow was sick
