I was up at the mtn today w/ a friend on some work crew crap, it ended up being fun cleaning up the mountain and getting free shit. anyways at lunch i was talkin to the guest relations manager and they are for sure putting a superpipe in at the top of the terrain park, said like 16 foot walls or something like that, don't know how long, but they will keep old one too. Good shit, 2 pipes at stevens next year

except crystal doesn't ahve a pipe, they only have it for that snowjam thing or whatever, i went out there to ski out, and they had plowed over it, the patrollers just laughed at us.

they don't have a park either, crystals policy now is that there are no man made jumps allowed on the mountain for liability reasons. the area under the black chair where there is supposed to be a prk was all smooth and groomed flat all the times i was there.

crystal had no park about half way through the season and the super pipe was destroyed. Hell they even destroyed our kicker because it was a liability!

k for those of you who didnt hear the entire buzz after the stupid half pipe competition on march 2, word is they are getting the pipe dragon that was used for the 2002 winter olympic games at Salt Lake. from what i heard the pipe was supposed to be where tube city is so it can have access to the rope tow, but according to the first post, i may be wrong cause plans can change. but it just doesnt make sense to put it at the top of the park like erik said cause it lacks the vert for the pipe and the space.

above tube city where the snow skate park was and all the racers are is where it was rumored to be going and how the hell could they put it in at the top of the park theres like not enough hill.

and just cuz they are getting the dragon from the games means shit cuz they will find a way to not work it properly.

ok we all know that both crystal and white pass had superpipes and parks the rivaled whistler and mamoth. its just that some of you people are blind. get over it. it was last season and if you are that stupid you don't deserve to go in the parks.

Hold up all you bitches that are saying crystal had a park, let alone one that could rival whistler. The three times i was there at different intervals in the season there was no park, every liftie i asked laughed, especially the one for the chair that serviced the park from the previos year. The trail maps say they have them, but the maps weren't changed from the previos year, waskier i would like to know where they were. THe patrollers also siad they didn't have a park. Unless they were behind some big fuckin curtain w/ snow on in and shit for just you, there was no fuckin park there

If people don't want 'Posers' in their sport they should quit skiing and take up knitting. I highly doubt that anyone 'Poses' as a knitter.
 
Yes, Stevens is going to have a superpipe. I'm riding for them, so I'll try to get an update on everything soon.

yeah, he's right, it was just under all that camo netting. didn't you see that? if you didn't, are you sure you were at crystal? it was kind of obvious, i think. anyways, i guess the park at crystals gonna be even bigger this year, setting new standards for the word 'superpark'

to brit or whoever that says there was a park at crystal, please let me know where it was, like near what lift or whatever, cause all you who are BSin is getting kinda annoying about crystals park and pipe, i agree w/ people on the location of stevens superpipe though, it would be nice to have it near the rope tow and shit

i think im gonna re-consider my decision to not get a seasons pass at stevens, i was thinking about spreading the wealth over to crystal a little more but this whole super pipe thing is pretty enticing.
