Anybody know where to camp near Stevens? Taking my aiare 1 up there this weekend, and don't really want to drive home between the Saturday and Sunday lessons. Ideally minimal hike in cause i will be getting of full days on skis and leaving early in the morning.

I camped on the side of Brennans trail in the trees (a bit above the houses above lot 4) and it worked out

I saw a tent out in grace lakes last week by the first lake near where they did all the avy dog training, not far from the road. there are still a few igloos back in that direction too.

but be careful back in grace lakes there's bears and it tends to rain a lot.

Also sleeping in your car in the upper lot is mellow if you disguise yourself as one of the lodge cars. They plow every night, but if you're snugged up with the cars of people staying at the mountaineers, etc you'll be fine. I also recommend backing in so that you're even more hidden from the plows.

And worse case, if you get hassled, you are too drunk to drive.

Being underage, this might not be the best thing to say.

haha. In that case you have car trouble but your friend is coming in the morning with the part. Fuel pump gasket, that you installed wrong...

IDK if youve ever camped in your car in winter, or what you have for a car but you can make it really, really comfy. Im 6'4" and i used to sleep in the back of my 4runner overnight at Kirkwood a bunch and had a super comfy setup that i loved sleeping in.

anyone wanna blast around on the 10cm they got last night?

Convert to imperial units please. We fought two world wars to keep the imperial/American system of measurement (amongst other things that define the American way of life) and I'll be damned if I don't continue using that system.

Tomorrow could be very good or very bad though...
