Stevens Pass 2012-2013

This is what I want to know.

I'm trying to figure out my ride situation. If someone with a better care is going up, I'll go with them, but only if they're leaving Seattle at like 6-630. I want to beat the crowds and get what's left. I couldn't even handle today... God dammit...
 
Last run sometime after 3pm was over the head untouched blower... Every lap was unbelievable... I seriously wish I could shred tomorrow it will be prime still! Lot filled up by 9 and the mountain emptied by 2, with so many lines still.. Great day thanks for sharing 2 tha ppl there & Hope the rest of you enjoy tomorrow

From vancouver, canada, first time at stevens yesterday...probably the deepest day of my life! Despite the parking fiasco, it was all worth it after a couple of turns on backside. I usually ride whistler, so my standards are pretty high, but I was blown away by the terrain and conditions. Stars couldn't have aligned any better on this one. Didn't have enough time to explore the entire mountain, but I'll definitely be coming back!
 
Dammmmmmn today was awesome! Basically landed a backflip but was a little over my toes and my right ski dove in.. was pretty pissed but was stoked for trying it 1 time ever before that
 
today was awesome. But i think we should petition to get park pass's back. In the 2 park laps i took today i saw many very very stupid things happend involving people staning on the lip of waterfall the landing coming out of the trees next to it and skiing down the landing ect who's in?
 
why did they get rid of the park passes? for liability and safety reasons they should definitely bring them back, plus it gets the park a little more funding

also, if people were standing on the waterfall knuckle, does that mean that they have it built already?
 
Wait, if they don't have waterfall up then they're not standing on a jump knuckle, they're standing on a knoll...what's so bad about that?
 
Yeah I'm about to go post on their wall. Today was pretty fun. Lots of cliffs to flat pow. Unfortunately, the GoPro got iced over so I got like two usable shots. Might still throw up the 3 attempt out in Grace Lakes anyway just because.
 
I just posted on their Facebook. Get in there, like and comment and shit. Hopefully we can generate enough noise through this, but if not, I'll start the calling and the emailing, and eventually call upon the power of Newschoolers.

But let's only escalate as far as we have to. Being on good terms with the management is never a bad thing.
 
its worth a try but right now stevens is already balls deep in comments about the parking fiasco, your cause might get buried for now
 
we could see if david (literature) could do something about it, or talk to the current park manager. due to his history there as park manager, i'm sure his word would have a lot more influence, especially if it is also backed by a ton of other people. somebody that knows him better than i do should talk to him about it
 
he's not working at Stevens anymore though. His opinion would be equal to or slightly higher effect on the way they run it as ours.

today was fun. got some leftovers on the fronside, went mach 12 down backside groomers and shredded the park. Jumps are $
