Stevens Pass 2011-2012

We need more snow to do pretty much anything else, especially jump wise.
I might remind the impatient that it's still November, and we are still the only ones in the state with jump of any size, much less 30 ft.

thank you very much david. i haven't been up yet this year but im going tomorrow and ill be stoked to do anything in november let alone hit waterfall

Woo hoo now it wont be such a pain in the ass to film REEAAAL snow on REEALL mountains jah bless

In a pinch I can even throw on a 80-200 and get a barely acceptable shot. With a 55 or 28mm its fucking killer.

Hahah it was really funny in the thrift store because I took the pair of crutches there and held them up like guns while I thought about the idea. Got some very strange looks

any footage of waterfall? Fuck I'm so stoked there is a good jump!!!! Can't wait to get up and shred, I'll be there both days booooooooooiiiiiiiis!

As of today, we have five jumps and twenty three features.
Tomorrow is the backside opening.
And fair warning: if you ride Stevens, I'm going to start giving you serious shit if you don't wear a helmet. It's just stupid not to, and though it's selfish, I don't want to be spending any time around hospital beds this year. It harshes my mellon.

45ºf reading from the top of sky during the noon hour, and several hours in the 40's, followed by freezing to sub-freezing temps. All kinds of telemetry fun.

So I guess there is no problem that I will be spending this weekend writing lab reports, earth to mars transfer flight plans, and generally participating in other aspects of nerdydom.

First deck right after the drop in--two options. Upper Brennan's has two more (far left line, along with the pvc tubes) One right above the Waterfall drop in, and then Waterfall itself.
Plenty of options, with some decent airtime on the first one (right takeoff) and Waterfall.
The PVC elbow has been popular, so I'll be rooting for it this weekend.

make it more at an angle please! it's too easy :P

lenses are cleaned, batteries are charged, film is loaded, ready for tomorrow. I'll be shooting most of the day, excluding a few laps in the morning, if you want a shot, let me know :)

I'm going to go ski pow. Duh.
If the conditions favor us, we're hoping to be fully built by Xmas.
And it looks like the pipe is back on the menu.

Its going to be dry until december 14th or whenever I get my shoulder brace and I can start slayin bitches~
