Stevens Pass 2010-2011

Well I just called my buddy and apparently lift damage was widespread across both sides of the mountain. Expect them to open late december while they make repairs~

Kinda like when Southern Cross blew a bering last year and was down for half the season when it snowed like a whole bunch

I want more info, this happened last night how come this is the first any of us have herd anything.

If thats true D: , and crystal here we come.

I hope Scotts trollin. I doubt that stevens would post an update on FB about the power going out and just forget to mention a ton of lifts getting taken out hahah.

Haha, nice Scott. There are trees down all over the place. And the power was still out in Skykomish when I left this evening.

We still need more snow. I went for a hike today(base to top of Hogsback to top of Skyline and down through the park), and there's two feet in places on the upper hill, but not much lower down.

Looked for the shovel. Nothing.

it's a snowboard shop on the way up to stevens from seattle.

I forget exactly what it means. I think it's "Stevens Pass Snowboard Shop" though.

Most of this storm missed stevens and it is supposed to dry up but stay cold. Id bank on it being open by the 5th, but im not so sure about the 25th unless we get some precip moving in~

I might, i'll see how i feel in the morning, hauling my fat ass up the mountain without skins was a challenge

I'll be there. Say hi.

I skinned up Skyline today, and they've done a bunch of track packing on the upper parts of the hill. Still, the pow that was left was fluffy and fun. I'm thinking of heading back up there but dropping towards Hogsback from the top of 7th. We'll see.

I'll be with you guys.

I think that's a great idea if you wanted to skin to the top, I was hoping somebody else was thinking this same thing(cloud 9 or something along those lines from the top).

I can't wait, I didn't go at all since April to try to let my shin rest as long as possible.
