They dont tell you. Dodging artillery automatically upgrades the run from double black to a jah flag
They use the tanks occasionally to fire rounds up there at specific spots, but they close the highway when they do it. There is a sign back there warning you about that ridge (Merlins and Camelot) that sits ontop of the big lake.

We focused on resetting the rails. The rail garden now has the DFD box and Rail, a 40ft down flat rail, the Donkey dick, and the 20ft round bar. We lengthened the landing on the Skullcandy jib so you won't overshoot it. The first features were all rebuilt: longer jump, up rail instead of box, and the left side now has an up box to c box.

We've got to balance user demand with budgets. If it's crappy out, and barely anyone is there, it saves us money to close the park (no staff working equals not paying them for that time equals a surplus).
But it works out, because that extra money saved gets put into snowcat time or more maintenance later, so it's not as if its being wasted.
