The things he said about stevens don't even make sense to me. The 2 objects he contrasted are not mutually exclusive. In fact I would consider them to be pretty related.

Kids just wanna bitch and sound like they are "in the know", when in all reality Stevens is the best all around Mt in Washington, hands down. Park included.
 
All around Stevens is best in Washington without question. I'd say it even rivals some of the top resorts in Utah when it comes to the all around mountain including the park. I cant stand when people that don't know what they're talking about complain about Stevens. Stevens works very hard at keeping the best place to ski in the state.
 
Yes. I wish the forest agreement was longer than April 17th, If only they could keep skyline, or even brooks running, so we could still shred park.
 
I honestly don't think that Stevens give a fuck about the park. The constant budget cuts and lack of cat time. That tells me that they don't care that much about the park. The few comps that they have and them just not doing Hoedown this year is a shame. I emailed them and they said that they "Didn't have enough time" when I know for a fact that they knew moths in advance. They need more money, cat time, and comps. BUT with out a doubt Stevens the best (or access to the best) terrain in Washington. The side country is amazing and the tree skiing is on par with most major resorts. I love Stevens Pass I just think they could have made better use of the great park space they are given mostly in terms of jibs not using Brenen's trail ext. Stevens has the biggest/best jumps in Wa.

Fail. On every part. No, those aren't the reasons that there was no events.

And no, they don't have the best terrain in washington. They have some great stuff, but what makes Stevens better than everyone else is there well rounded basket of goods. Park, BC access, location, annual snowfall, and MORE than friendly marketing and park staff. (Some of them anyway)

Stevens Park crew is limited by the amount of cat time they get from the resort operations. To my knowledge, the crew tries to get as much as they can, but what would really help would be some kindly worded emails to the management at Stevens asking politely for more resources to the park next year.
