^^^^ yea no shit... it looked way sick... to bad they have shity mannagement that wont build a park cuz they say thers not enought room for one.....

yeah well it looked all nice and groomed and all that, but it was really slow. even though it was raining they decided to put salt all over?! which just made it slower. the lines at the park last year were really weird and there wasn't much flow, but thats just my opinion.

Do you think that the waterfall jumps might be built by thanksgiving weekend? it seems like the jump exists almostly entirely naturally... not much snow needed to build it

extremely doubtful on the waterfalls. they didnt even open this weekend, so i would doubt they would go all out and build some jumps, but at this ratew, a couple weeks perhaps

I'd expect a few rails, not much past that. Kickers are mid season. I really hope they work out the waterfalls better this year, last year they were good but kinda sketch, landing was a bit weird, maybe like a taller takeoff.

we hiked up brooks on saturday and they had a small waterfall built that we hit, not sure if there guna set a rail up after it or wat and they were shapin the upper part too, so hopefully theyll have some shit open

There is a new Terrain Park manager and some new park employees. The crew is looking good and they've got a lot of new jump concepts. I checked some of them out and they're sweet.

FOCUS your mind.

OPENING DAY!

Stevens will open for limited operations

Tuesday, November 25th, 9am to 4pm p

Lifts scheduled to operate are: SkyLine, Hogsback, Daisy, Tye Mill & Big Chief.

The Terrain Park will have 23 features ready to go opening day!!

Dont get gloves though, gloves are out. just use a cigarette to keep your hands warm.

i'm guessing a couple boxes (rain, c, straight) rails (small straight maybe some of the bigger, hopefully the dragontail and rainbow) and some small jumps and such like the ones on the far skiiers left of the park. i'd be surprised if they have the waterfalls up but that'd be doe.

the magazine is called 'POWDER' cool! - my stupid non-skiing friend

if they do, they'll prolly just have one like in the middle thats not very big like they did at the beginning of last year....

they must have quite a few jumps and things because i called them and they said that they had 12 rails, and 23 features - 12 rails = 11 other features (jumps perhaps?)

Stevens Lasteryear counted the rollers as feartures though.

The new rail paint jobs are sooooooooo awsome, two words, HOT PINK!!!

ya those gay lil jumps shouldnt count, they need a lot more big air jumps, it suxs u can only throw sumtin big once a run, even wit one more big air jump ud get double the practice...

but 'big air' jumps are scary

Dont get gloves though, gloves are out. just use a cigarette to keep your hands warm.

thats so sick the rails are hot pink... even though pink is getting played, it's still super sick. Anyone who went up today should post about what jumps are built.

just got back, half of 'the terrain park features' were buried in two feet of powder.

both waterfalls were up but the landing was flatter than kevins little sister.

there were some fun rails up too

Dont get gloves though, gloves are out. just use a cigarette to keep your hands warm.

i tried to go today but crashed before we got up there. how was it? any new features or jus like last year? pink rails????????

yes they were damn flat, flatter than my little sister that doesn't exist. it sucked, i don't remember how to ski. i can't do anything. the actual metal parts were pink but the wood wasn't.

^^^ yeah me too, aren't the waterfalls on that big slopey part? how can that be flat? unless your landing on the top part, which would SO suck.

and kevin...hahahaha. 'I don't remember how to ski, cause I can't do rails'..... you stupid park rats. silly kevin, rails are for kids.

the hill is naturally sloped, just not enough, the build it up quite a bit

Dont get gloves though, gloves are out. just use a cigarette to keep your hands warm.

the jumps were too far back/not big enough so it was pretty much impossible to make the landings. i was falling all over the place.

what a beautiful day

and crashing all over the place

Okay, I went up wed Nov. 26th, and Fri, the 28th, and The pass is looking pretty dope. There are atleast 10 rails, of varying sive and difficulty, (downkink, raibnow, reversed dragon tail, 15 foot straight handral. like 8 foot shotgun, some other lil ones) There is the same medium wierd kicker at the entrance, has a nice tranny by today, friday, for 3's and small smooth stuff, then another booter which I never hit, cause I wanted to hit the smaller rail next to it. There is a grain like 15 foot flat bar where the 40 footer and the shotgun were last year. then the waterfalls in same place, landing didn't look too bad, didn't hit it though, cause I skiied the line w/ the 15 foot hand rail alot to work on that down below. The fatty hip/table after the waterfall isn't there but a lot of fun rails are, and the c box. The section w/ like 3 lil tables is down at the bottem left ahnd side, like last year. w/ a small shotgun rail. So yeah it was dope.

EVEN BETTER WAS THE BACKSIDE, FREAKIN INCREDIBLE. me and a buddy lapped through the edges of southern cross w/ nice steep 1 1/2-2 feet of freshies all morning dropping all the lil shit that is in there until it started raining. Having it open up today, so that no one else hasd touched it this season was incredible.

so yea, the pass is dope this year, check it out.

P.S. no i did not get payed by stevens pass to post this message :), i'm just stoked
