Stevens Park

well its almost peak season for the park we now have 30 hits and we have just received some new rails a 16' down rail and a 32' kink. also the S rail is finally in.
 
i went friday, and i thought the park was soooo sick. sometimes speed is an issue but never too bad. the a frame box is really fun.
 
Also we just did a measure run and Waterfall (1st tbl pro line) is Roughly 55' with a 4 to 5 foot landing zone, Meaning 55' to were the mojority of people land. Then Jrs Jump (2nd tlb) is 50' feet and Junks (3rd tbl) is a big bad 60'. For Today the speed is alright Pro line is hitting well and smooth and no problem clearing top table line. Oh one last thing anybody have any suggestions for park? We are currently looking for a spot for a medium size step up and the One light hip is going to be the biggest it has ever been since ive been here. It will probably get shaped the beging of this next week, and oh yeah were using a excavator. Any suggestions or comments feel free to email me at downhillkilla@newschoolers.com or give us a call.

One question: Has Stevens figured out how to make a jump with nice pop and a steep landing yet? If so, that would be delightful.
 
yeah, all of the jumps are really good now, the last jump reminds me of mammoth, its basically perfect, and the landings are of good steepness. pretty much an epic weekend up there, and they are rebuilding the lower hip, making it bigger and cleaner, its looking good. i was really happy with their setup.
 
Well A friend of mine said he liked the park alot but then he didn't really answer me when I asked if the jumps were popy or just really big with no air time.
 
triple snow has his head up the dirty anus of Stevens pass therefore he has no legit street cred.

I'm sending Grant to investigate.

I wonder if they'll actually build anything cool for the superpark qualifier.

I would be cool to see the cockride sitting on top of the quarterpipe...
 
Then I was there in mid March it was Super fun. Junk and those guys were doing a good job with the flow of the park and mixing up what they had. Waterfall was a lil small but it was fun to ride at stevens again. Keep up the good work guys.
 
I have a problem with that last jump in teh series of three at the top of the park. Everybody cant get enough speed to clear it, so to hit it you have to miss the second jump. Wait, why am I doing this, we have like, just tomorrow to ski. nevermind...
