How come unlike T- Wall and Henrik H, Steve S hasn't got as big. He's just as good and was shreddin with them in the hyphy edits but he doesn't go to JOSS or Dew tour. So whats up with that
 
I´ve been wondering about the same thing. I think its because henrik and tom wins the big comps. And both have pretty unique styles that they are known for. steve just becomes the copy cat.
 
i think he probably means that far fewer people see steve stepp in an edit and frantically ask what clothing he wore or how he grabbed his ski at 1:09 or his afterbang at 2:12
 
look back to the roundtop edits with steve n tom, everyone thought steve was gunna be the one to blow up. kudos to you steve for not doing comps!
 
steve just isnt as good, and he doesnt promote himself as much as wallisch and henrik do, if he put a little more work into it he could get better.
 
yeah everyone on the jibbin forums used to say t-wall and stepp for president then henrick came along and replaced him
 
he isn't as good. :(

Steve is a phenomenal skier, but the shit Tom and Henrick do is so next level. Those kids envision a trick on the lift and learn it perfectly the next run. No one else I know can do that.
 
steve stepp isn't on that level yet. its just that simple tom and henrik have a bigger bag of tricks, better sponsors and win the big comps
 
all the noobs in this thread need to find and watch old roundtop riders edits when steve was probably the best out of all of them
 
I'm going to go ahead and chalk it up to the fact that he's just not nearly as talented as the two guys you compared him to. He's still dope, and still fun to watch.
 
You shouldn't compare Steve with T-wall and Henrik Harlaut.

Steve keeps it underground and has an awesome style.

The Goblin remains one of my favorite skiers.
 
so true. steve kills it, but in a different sense. i dont know any of them personally, but i think i can gather that much from what i have seen. i think he likes keeping it udnerground, but i still wouldnt know.
 
Could you imagine the profanities he would yell into the cameras at the Dew Tour! The normal world couldnt handle it. the gobs is too dam ignant.
 
For an underground guy, Stepp is still a highlight. If you're watching something and his name comes on the screen for a few shots you definitely pay attention. I think he's still on the way up.
 
i think we are asking rhetorical questions here. but ill give you the answer your looking for.
tom wallisch and henrik H are known around the freeski buisness and community as great skiers, and have very high popularity status's. they each competed in dew tour and joss, and atleast one of the two will be in x games next year im sure, and steve stepp does not comppete in these events, or really any large ones at all, and therefor does not get the same amount of recognition that skiers such as t wall and henrik do
 
he's obviously made of glass as well. no one mentioned that he broke himself like the past two or three years and hasnt been able to ride for a full season?
 
dude, that kid is real good at skiing. did you see his part in slaminas? soo il, such good style. i saw him skiing in hood this summer, he's got really nice tricks going on
