Steve Stepp is a racer!

Word. I wished my parents had gotten me into racing because I would have been able to progress much faster after learning fundamentals. But instead I have had had to basically learn everything on my own or from regular ski lessons (which are BS).
So even now after 10 years of skiing my fundamentals could still be improved.

so true about moguls, you learn tricks and the ability to ski any terrain on the mountain all at the same time. My brother took moguls pretty far, and a bunch of his friends are at the olympic level right about now, and those kids fucking shred. For example, at sugarloaf last week, a ton of people are in the park, and one of my brothers old mogul buddies comes through and does 3, to cork 7 mute, to cork 9 tail. everybody wearing a tall tee (not singling anyone out) was absolutely shocked that someone wearing normally fitting clothes was throwing down like that. To any little guys, get into competitive moguls asap.

My guess is it was easier to just say "grown up at a shitty park" then 3 paragraphs describing the history of RT's park which 95% of the readers wouldn't be too concerned about.
