i always knew he was an addict but im curious as to how bad it got
 
dude, its sooo much worse. he went absolutely nuts... suicidal, did every drug you could think of, just nuts.

after seeing this, im pretty scared, anticipating the day hes going to end up dead... unless hes really stopped after this show, it can't get much worse
 
Good for him turning it around. He looked pretty down and out. That has to take a lot to be able to break those habits.

And the nut kick was pretty funny.
 
did you guys really expect anything different from him? it was obvious the whole time what a mess he was. i havnt even watched the show yet, there are so many people just as fucked up as him.

it was clear he needed help for so long. but soooo many famous people have been way worse addicts than him.

he really was a funny guy in his time though.
 
really interested to see this. he was on the last episode of nitro circus and he was so scared to ride a dirtbike it was strange. he just seemed so over everything.

gonna start looking for this now.
 
yo that show was really scary. He was doing some messed up stuff in that video. Really a powerful show, i had a hard time watching some videos on that show.
 
MTV is lucky he had a camera and was obsessed with filming himself, in a way he is lucky also, because now that he is cleaned up he can go through those tapes and see what he was like.

damn i stayed up pretty late last night watching it, so crazy i didnt know how bad he got... they played it again after it was done and i had to change the channel and watch south park for a bit to get my mind off it, some of that stuff was really hard to watch, scared me off drugs so much fuck that shit he was absolutely brain washed and convinced he needed to kill himself ,crazy. stay on weed fuck yayo and other fucked up shit.

i don't know about anybody else, but personally i have mad respect for him now, i especially liked how he says that this tv special isn't a prais-a-thon "look, i did it" kind of thing, because he never truly will be safe. skate boarding part was sweet. and ya i think he's a pretty sincere about everything. it was pretty impressive... nuff said.
 
Agree on the weed but it was a varial.

And really this show didnt phase me..it was more funny that anything.
 
Yeah. I honestly didn't think he was gonna live through all that shit.

I actually want to give MTV props for airing this. I hope a million kids see it, and it scares the living SHIT out of them. Enough for them to stay away from hard drugs/alcohol and the like.

I think they should play that doc, and the movie Requiem for a Dream to highschoolers in school so it will show them what REAL addiction is like, and the bad shit that will follow. Personally I found the film and documentary so eye-opening for myself, reassuring me that there's no way or reason to ever even try any of those drugs. The risk involved is retarded, not even counting the side effects, addiction, and all the other shit that goes along with that type of lifestyle.
 
if you watched the demise and rise video there is a few other movies that he made, 3 to be precise. i watched them all, they are all very good. you can find them online at random sites.

Bingo. I watched this twice. I had no idea it was that bad. I remember watching him on Jimmy Kimmel. He was destroooyyeeddd. I was actually getting angry watching it. The guy fucked his life up so badly. The only way he is alive was cause of his popularity. He got away with so much shit.

He is honestly making drugs look so bad. All drugs can be done in moderation if you have the will power. This fuckup is giving recreational use of drugs a bad name.
 
pot and booze can be used in moderation and be safe, but shit the shit he was huffing and cocaine are just bad for your body, and shouldn't be used.
