there are mad asian people at my mountain(hill) but i agree with the black people, i also have the answer my black friends all say they dont like the cold. not to mention its pretty expensive.
 
well there are the Japanese. they ski. but black people melt when they touch snow so they generally stay away from snow and skiing and such.
 
were I live Im pretty sure theres more hajis and asians than white people but at my hill theres definitely all white people then you go over to blue "mountain" and its all asians
 
prob cus there'r lots of good mountains in europe and asia but not so much in africa so it all goes back to our ancestors.

There may be no black people but there are alot of white people acting like there black hahah. Btw Im not hating cuz Im just one of them. Tons of asian where Im at...we got korean day nd its hell becuase the asians just show up by the truckload and I mean more and more and more and the asain invasion never ends.
 
Yeah I see asians but I never see black people. Like look at football and basketball. It's all black people. They can take the spots on all the lame sports though it's okay. There was a black lifty though at my mountain last year. That's it though.

Go to any lake tahoe resort preferably northstar or sugar bowl and you will see some asian people guaranteed. at northstar instead of calling last run we say let's go asian dodging because at the end of the day on the home run its just packed with asian gapers.

and my mate is a black dude and he kills it on a snowboard. But you're right there aren't many out there. I think they like the heat...
 
Yeah not trying to be racist but africa aint that cold so yeah hahah it makes sense....yet they can stand outside wearing on the street all day wearing narely enough clothes...doesnt make sense haha

You forgot about middle eastern people too! haha but they don't come from places where there is much snow, so i guess thats why.

this is america, most of the money in america is held by whites, skiing is a pretty expensive sport. of course most people you see skiing will be white.

There's a Jamaican liftie at Okemo who makes my day. He always is blaring reggae and always follows it up with his common phrase "This side, move ya feet man". He'll also occasionally throws in a couple dance moves to go along with the music.
 
I believe diversity is an old od wooden ship used in the civil war era.

so it makes sense that there wouldnt be much diversity at the mountain, how many old old wooden ships do u see skiing?
 
my mom's black, she used to ski every weekend, until she tore her meniscus (i think that's how you spell it). her sister (my aunt of course) still skis whenever she can find the time.

but yeah, aside from my family, i never see black people skiing. TONS of asian gapers though, i always see a lot of south asians wearing really weird shit like pikachu hats and tigger suits, like they'e dressed up for halloween instead of skiing. i don't see a lot of indians skiing though, probably for a lot of the same reasons i don't see black people skiing.

Well, there are some pretty dope asian skiers that I know and ride with, I don't see any lack of them on the slopes, whether they be tourists or people who shred.

Invader46 is the only black skier I know, but he throws down. What he said is probably the case. Less money means less access to an unfortunately elitist sport. It's not like "oh they're black so they can't ski on mountains worth shit", because the ones that do ski have no problem at it.

I think there's a pro big mountain skier who's black too. I read about that in powder a couple years ago I think.

Yeah, true to that. Also, it should be good incentive to just get people hooked on skiing. It's a pretty good feeling to get someone hooked on skiing just by sharing your own stoke with them and them trying it because it sounds good.
 
haha at one of my resorts all the lifties are jamaican. When i was really little they would be like, do yoo need help mon? And last year i saw a black family on some old straight skis. They were gapers but they were pretty nice people. Hah you get to know everyone really quick on a "hill" so small.
