Stereo wakeskis are expensive

i found a sweet substitute for wakeskis, since they're so goddamn expensive

i can buy a decent setup for a wakeboard with boots at 400 new... that's decent, not the 'park' model, but the 'standard' setup, but stereo rips me at 580 for the 'standard' i believe... how is wakeskiing going to progress if they're that expensive for the entry model? come on stereo

i have tried those ones you linked to.... awful at best. they are impossible to ski on, suck at carving, if you land anywhere other than dead center you will fly out of the bindings. there is a reason the other others are long and skinny and not short and fat, so you can actually turn them. also, you definitely need the wake style bindings so you don't blow out of them all the time. i mean its your call, but honestly i tried those once and went right back to regular water skiing.

No, those ones are cheap versions and extremely difficult to ride on, that's why they are inexpensive. Really short too, which is not good.

honestly they are complete pieces of shit. the tip and tail are fatter than underfoot so you can't dig in the tails to turn at all, they are seriously most uncontrollable thing i have been on in the water other than an inner tube. seriously, don't get those, look for used real wakeskis or something.

lol dude multiple people that have them including myself have said they are garbage. you seriously have no control on them just because of how they were designed. you can go ahead and blow your money on them, but honestly after trying mine i would not even consider paying more than $10 for them. i felt regular waterskis would be easier to jump and stuff on, and in fact would use regular waterskis for jumping the wake even when i had those in the boat as well.

i cant stress enough how garbage those are, but you obviously want them so i say buy them and then you will realize how much they suck. basically they are just too fat to sit down in the water and so you are riding on them really flat and they skip and slide out over any type of bump.

Wakeskier: (weyk-skeer) n. Typically a natural born leader, of above average intelligence, with an instuitiveness to know what the next "big thing" is going to be. Someone who loves water sports, but is sick of seeing the same old thing on the water.

Hey! I have all of these. No I am not rich, my parents just saved their money. Haha I can't believe this kid thinks these things look sick. I am thinking about getting a pair of the stereo's or HO's to try out. The stereo's are still like $6-700 with bindings though...
