Stereo Wake Skiing

During the summer I ski on a show ski team. Last summer we placed first in regionals and 9th in nationals. This year our jump team needs to be much stronger so I have my mind set on getting wake skis and rippin up the wake like i do on the snow.
Only problem is that I don't have enough money for them.

Anybody have a pair that they wanna sell to me.
What are your thoughts on the skis. Are they pretty sick.

HO wakeskis are the shit!! One of the guys on my team has the stereo wakeskis and they're pretty dope, too. I personally like the HO's a little better. They're a little more playful. I picked up a pair of HO's with bindings off of ebay for $300 a little over a year ago. I'd look there and wait until you come across a deal.
What team do you ski for? I ski for Backwater....

My friend chad has a pair of those, and i dont like how short they are. being a highschool student i guess i shouldnt be too picky but im still liking the stereo. Summit Boardshop got their wake skis so i gotta start saving i guess. I ski for the Ski Otters.

yeah, the HOs are a little more squirlie than the stereos are. the stereo wake skis aren't fully rockered from tip to tail like the HOs. they have a tip and a tail rocker, but are flat underfoot. that, coupled with the fact that they are 153 (I think) vs the 145 that the HOs are rockin, makes them a little more stable...especially for bigger dudes. either way you go, they're both dope to ride.
one thing I will forewarn you about - make sure you get good bindings. half of the wakeski bindings I've used blow ass and it totally kills the ride. definitely get something that latches on to your feet pretty securely.

Do you ride cable, or behind a boat? I found that wakeskis are wayyy more fun at the cable park than behind the boat. Maybe it's because I've been wakeboarding forever, but I'd take a wakeboard over wakeskis behind the boat any day. Way more pop and maneuverability imo.

yeahhh yeahh word. what bindings are you thinking? the stereo ones or like connelly bindings that are usually on regular jumpers.

not like regular jumper high wraps. i've ridden the HO "wake ski" bindings that are like $300 and the stereo setup and I didn't really like either of them. my HO's will actually line up to any HO slalom high wrap, so I picked up a pair of the HO shocks and they fit better than a lot of the more expensive bindings I've ridden. i'm pretty sure the stereo ski's are the same way - you should be able to line up any slalom binding to the skis, so definitely get something light and with good padding, but you don't necessarily have to spend a fortune.
Here are the bindings I ended up going with. They're cheap, light, and have good padding.
