Seriously? 6 pages in a day? Half of hate and half of love.
We all need to step off the guy. Did he call out some pros in a somewhat distasteful way? Maybe. Is it our place to judge? Nope. Can the man say WHATEVER THE HELL HE WANTS about skiing? Yup. a) free speech and b) HE'S TANNER HALL. The man has done more for "newschool" skiing than anybody else HANDS DOWN. Is he off snow for a while? Is he getting a slight bit loopy? yup. Still, give the man some respect.
True innovators in any field never get anything done by sitting back and keeping their mouth shut.
Tanner, I have mad love, and look forward to shredding with you when your back.

Yeah true, he can say what he wants. Doesn't mean he's not going to sound like a douchebag when he says it.

In that video, Tanner was a drunken mess, who levelled a tirade of hate at fellow pros and park skiers throughout the world.

Being a 'hero' of the sport is about more than being a good skier, it's about being representing the whole skiing community well, and Tanner did not do that at all.
 
don't bother. what ive found out is that NS is just a bunch of impressionable children having their periods. one little thing can make them want to chop off your dick, but another little thing can make em want to suck off you dick.
 
What I am getting at is that Tanner is allowed to be a drunken mess. He didn't mouth off a tirade of hate. He talked shit to people who, while seeming loftly to us, are his FRIENDS.
Has anyone even asked Simon, Peter, or Colby if they care? Odds are, the response will be "Tanner was drunk and mouthing off about park skiing again? Haha, oh silly Tanner..."
This is such a huge deal to all of newschoolers, when in the REAL WORLD OF SKIING, no one really cares.
 
agree with that. i reckon its cause most people on newschoolers will never be a pro even though they dream of it. So they find some way to attach themselves to the top level skiers and make a big deal outta nothing and shit that doesn't really involve them.
 
step off of tanner by making a thread to discuss why we do or dont like his drunken rant.......... this thread is almost as useful as tits on a bull.
