I'll go first. Five seasons ago, I was skiing through the park at my local on maybe my third day out of the year. I had been spinning the last booter for a few runs, and spontaneously, without any thought or preparation, carved off the lip setting a cork 9 mute. The axis felt perfect in the air, and I successfully pulled the grab behind my back. Landed like I hadn't even taken off. To this day, I haven't done a nicer one. Later in the day I got a nice hummer in the lodge from a lady who witnessed it.
 
Last year i just casually i did a quad backy in the kidspark onto a box and then i did a casual 6 out
 
a couple seasons ago i was just getting in to the park. I had put down maybe 10 360s and wanted to step it up. the next run I perfectly over rotated my 540 and laced a 2160. never happened again to this day.
 
Not me, but I witnessed this Florida family out for spring break at Keystone. Two teen boys and dad, solid intermediates. They're asking me how to get to "the other base area" cuz mom and auntie somehow got over there and were drinking in the lodge with some local fellows. Sounds like a party, so i tell them to follow me there!

Got my eye on them heading down Schoolmarm, and they turn out into Area 51 with me. I hit the jump with a straight air, erh ahem, I mean zero spin. Made it look easy though.

Look back and see teen boy 1 hit the jump, knuckles it cuz was his first time, but he's fine, stays on his feet, skis out of it. Teen boy 2 just goes around the jump and meets us on the other side.

Dad's setup like he might actually try to hit the jump. He starts down, uh oh pizza, he's gonna lose speed. Catches an edge on the pizza and fumbles around to where he's riding backwards. We're watching him flail his poles all over and hoping he doesnt fall, but then BOOM hits the kicker and absolutely greases the switch rodeo 9.

a few days ago I had a dream i front 6 a rail i have never made it to the end of before. I also had cork 7 on lock in that dream (i have never cork sevened on a trampoline i dont know how i knew what i was doing)
 
I had a dream that I did a really nice hand drag cork 5 off a knuckle at copper and did one (for the first time) 2 days later.

No way man im the same. I’ve done many backies before but I havent done one in 3 or 4 years now. Kids in the park and on the lift constantly yell at me “Do a backflip” and I always respond “you first”. Hopefully they don’t take it that im being a dick, I just hate doing backies lol
 
So last week I was riding some straight up rock exposed, grassy bushtrails and ripped a crazy dub backie between the trees, shit was so tight
 
Lots of pink names in this thread. Oops, I dropped my wallet. Lots of hundred dollar bills fell out. No point picking them up because I use them as kleenexes anyways. Hope one of you pink names doesn't follow me to my Bugatti.

I do them off of windlips and stuff but fuck doing a backy on a park jump
 
had a rail jam yesterday, tried to do a big pop off the donkey dick to forwards and accidentally laced the front 2 that got me into 3rd place
 
I threw my biggest lawn dart front flip ever at big Boulder in 2018 on the busiest day of the year, so many people saw it. I tucked for that landing so perfectly late. The lift and lift line went bananas cuz nobody there can actually ski. I was riding solo, so no clip but the memory shines bright within my heart til this day.
 
throw me in the lil park with the n00bs who are learning to slide for the first time (support your local n00b!) and the jerr bears side hitting the lips and i feel like a god amongst children. sometimes if im having an off day, ill take a quick lap through there to get some confidence lol.
 
nose bud 7 in front of tom wallisch when i was 15. coulda cried when he cheered for me i was so happy. never even done one since
 
To all the peeps saying they're scared of backflips: Just remember--backflips are like bears; they're just as scared of you as you are of them. Next time you see someone doing a backflip, raise your arms above your head and clap your hands to make some noise. This will make your appear bigger than you are and possibly scare the backflip away.

I went through this once a few years ago. Someone was about to do a backflip, and I was on the lift right next to the jump they going to take off from. As soon as they got to the lip and were about to perform the backflip, I started clapping my hands and shouting. This distracted the skier, and they stalled upside down in the air, overshooting the jump and landing on their head in the gucci plateau. They got airlifted out of the park by a helicopter.

Bro lowkey same. I’ll throw some corks maybe a flat spin, shit even a misty if there’s some hot chicks watching but I’d be dammed if I did a back flip. Sum abt it don’t sit right w me
